"[Name]!" Wake up!" you were busy sleeping. Of course, Asta always tries to wake you up early.
"Go away, Asta. Let me sleep", you groaned, turning your back on him. Asta left the room and you thought he left for good, thinking he gave up after one try. You were too slow t react when you heard footsteps in your room. You felt ice-cold water falling down your face. You shot up and saw Asta holding an empty bucket.
"There was no other way", Asta chuckled nervously with a sweatdrop. He put down the bucket on your table. You slowly rose from your bed my head towards Asta who quickly went pale. He shut the door and ran away, Luck opened the door.
"Hey,[Name]! I see that you're awake now, wanna fight me?" Luck insisted on fighting you.
"No", you refused and took your robe in your hands. You have been ignoring Luck's fighting requests since the day you joined. You weren't in the mood for fighting just yet. You told him to wait outside and he did.
You used your wind attribute to dry yourself and the bed you slept on. "Goddamn it Asta", you cursed under your breath and opened the door, and walked towards the cafeteria with Luck.
"Why do these rooms change every day?" you asked Luck shrugged in response. Seemed like no one knew the reason. "No clue," you and Luck walked into the cafeteria and everyone was eating. Your eyes wandered at Asta you glared daggers at him. He quickly turned his head around and pretended like he didn't see you. You and Luck took a seat at the table. You sat right next to Asta who still avoided eye contact with you.
"Asta. When we are done. I'll kick your ass", you threatened him. He chuckled nervously in response.
There's so much meat, I love it, finally something else than tatoes. You thought, enjoying the change of meals.
"Hey, Noelle, why don't you help me with the cleaning and stuff", Asta suggested.
"Cleaning? But I'm royalty", Noelle responded.
"The hell?" you looked at her with an annoyed expression.
"But you're a newbie like me and [Name]!" Asta yelled.
"I've never cleaned or done laundry in my entire life", Noelle stated with a kind of mocking tone.
There it goes again, you decided to ignore Noelle and Asta and covered your ears until they stopped.
"So, what do the Magic Knights do anyway?" Asta asked Magna.
"Are you seriously asking that?!" Magna stood up and yanked Asta out of his seat. He grabbed Asta's robe and yelled right in his face." We protect the kingdom and handle the security! It's the manliest job in the world, you dumbass! Why did you decide to join when you knew nothing about it?"
"They sure are lively first thing in the morning", Finral said.
"Being energetic is the best. Can I have some of that energy?" Gordon mumbled.
"I have to disagree on that", you shook your head.
"Hey, [Name]. You all right?" Vanessa suddenly asked.
"Yeah, my head just hurts from all of the yellings this early in the morning."
"This is going to happen every day", Finral sweatdropped.
"I know, I have dealt with Asta before but now we got the virgin delinquent", you mocked Magna. Vanessa chuckled a little bit that you also used that nickname.
"Damn it! Show 'em what Magic Knights do, you drunk witch", Magna yelled and let go of Asta's robe.
"Well, we keep the citizens of this kingdom safe? Something like that", Vanessa said while pouring more wine into her glass. "You might even be able to get closer to a noble if you're assigned to protect them."
