When I finished watching Shadowhunters, I was actually curious what will happen to Malec if Magnus did forgot about Alec, then I decided to write it as the idea came to me while listening to Ruelle's Bad Dream (obviously, where I got the title).
So, as a thank you gift to everyone. Here's a little trivia: Originally, the whole story was supposed to be Alec having a nightmare (hence, why the prologue was like that). It was supposed to be Alec dreaming that Magnus chose to forget him as a consequence of his action. But nonetheless, of course, they'll have a happy ending no matter what because no one should mess with Malec 😌
Anyway, I do hope that I didn't disappoint those who read/reading/ will read this story. I just tried my luck after I stopped writing years ago.
P.S: I'm planning to write another Malec fanfic. Hope you'll find it interesting, too. 🏹 I'll publish it soon.
