"Well, I really appreciate it, thank you," Barton's spoke sincerely, feeding a pizza crust to the Golden Retriever sat next to him.

Bucky smiled.

The scene opened with Clint sat in Grills's apartment.

"No problem," Grills replied.

"Grills!" Thor grinned, "I absolutely must meet him one day!"

"Since there was this… This guy." Clint pointed at his wounds.

"Guy?" Yelena raised her eyebrow.

"Come on, man, of course," Grills nodded, taking a bite out of his pizza.

"Grills is awesome," Kate beamed at the screen.

"You think you could, um, look after the dog just for a few more days?" Clint looked up.

"Sure."

"I, I got a hotel, and they don’t have… They don’t allow dogs," Clint stuttered as Grills interrupted him.

"Heyy," Peter sat up in his chair, "have you seen that movie: Hotel for dogs?"

"Yes!" Kate grinned enthusiastically.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. Hotel?"

"Yeah, it’s just, uh…" Clint frowned.

"No way. Hawkeye’s gonna stay in a hotel for Christmas? Man, take my couch. Really, take my bed," Grills insisted.

"He is so sweet," Wanda smiled at Grills on the screen.

"The-The-The couch will be great, thank you," Clint looked at his new friend appreciatively.

"Almost forgot," Grills stood up, "Missy dropped off the new outfits for you and Kate. You wanna see ’em?"

"Yes!" Kate jumped up as Tony lowered his glasses curiously.

Clint groaned.

Clint leaned back on the couch with his eyes closed, he cuddled Pizza Dog, "You know I do. Just… Just not right now."

"Damn, CB-One," Tony sighed, "I wanted to see the outfits."

"Me too," Shuri shook her head slightly in disappointment.

Clint sighed as the scene changed.

Kate walked out of the elevator in her mother's home. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she saw police officers standing next to Jack.

"What's going on?" Tony frowned, sitting forward in his chair.

"We’re gonna need you to come in and answer some questions," an officer spoke to Jack.

Tony took off his glasses.

Kate dropped her bag slowly as Jack smiled; his hands cuffed behind his back, "I promise you this is all a big misunderstanding. I’ve never worked a day in my life."

"He is innocent!" Tony stood up angrily.

"We have some tax records that will beg to differ."

"I’m telling you, the only Sloan I’ve ever known was this woman I dated in Palm Beach and she was an absolute nightmare," he chuckled.

Tony couldn't help but chuckle at the man, even though he was outraged.

Kate walked towards her mother and pulled her into a hug, "I’m so sorry, Mom."

"I looked into it, honey, and you were right."
