"He's being an asshole! Why can't he just listen to me, for two seconds?!" I asked and let my head fall back into the seat as Carla drove.

She laughed. "Maybe Zane is thinking the same thing about you, besides, you can't expect much from men, that's why I'm lesbian."

I sighed and slapped my cheeks. "I'm not going to think about him the rest to the night!" I vowed.

Zoe giggled. "That's the spirit! Tonight is about us, and I'm going to get wasted!"

Carla smirked and pulled into a parking lot. "I'm going to find me some hot girls down for a threesome, unless you and Zoe are down?"

I blushed and shook my head. "Maybe another time," I told her and climbed out of the vehicle.

The cool night air felt lovely on my mostly bare thighs, and I pulled the fabric of my one piece outfit down.

Carla touched my bare shoulder. "Justice, listen, you're definitely going to be the only human, so just in case someone asks, you're a werewolf tonight."

I nodded nervously and Carla smiled at me. "You'll be fine, if you need anything, I've got you, okay? If you go in, and don't like it, we'll leave, promise."

I smiled back, relieved. "Thanks, that means a lot to me, Carla."

Zoe lead us to the door, and the man who stood in front of the door stepped away the moment he saw Carla, not asking any questions. I swallowed and slowly stepped into a dark room with flashing lights.

My gasp was lost in the loud thumping music. It wasn't really what I expected, but somehow everything I thought it was going to be.

There were so many people sitting in corners talking, drinking from the bar, and dancing. I stared at the moving bodies on the dance floor, lips parting. That looks kind of fun, I thought and allowed Carla to grab my hand and pull me to the bar.

Carla smiled at the bartender and began speaking to him. The music was so loud that I didn't hear what she said to him, and I found my eyes drifting around the room.

I froze and stared, seeing a man and woman in a very dark corner, doing the nasty. I slowly dragged my eyes away, face burning. This place is crazy!

Carla waved, catching my attention. She handed me a glass, and I slowly lifted it up. I touched it to my lips and closed my eyes, drinking it all at once.

It burned, but I swallowed, determined to not make a reaction to the bitter alcohol. My eyes slowly opened and Carla smirked, pleased.

As a Rihanna song started playing, my hips swayed. I paused as a felt eyes and turned to look. The man who was watching me quickly turned his head, blushing.

I couldn't help but suddenly feel bold and beautiful as the music filled my ears. I stepped away from Carla tentatively, eyeing the dance floor, and she nodded, waving me off with a grin.

I smiled and slipped through sweaty bodies towards where the music was the loudest. I ran a hand through my hair and the man who had been watching me stepped over.

I grinned and felt my body move on its own. Even though I had never really danced like this, it wasn't extremely difficult once I entered a different frame of mind.

A frame of mind where I wasn't thinking, just moving to the sexy music. There was so many people around me, hands, fingers, arms, all moving up against me as my hands rose into the air.

It felt so different and freeing, just as lost as the rest of the crowd as my hips and body moved. My hair fell into my eyes as I turned and moved around a girl, who eagerly fell into step with me before she flew into another persons arms.

Hands landed on my hips and I leaned back into the person, world seeming to slow. The hands disappeared, and I turned, staring into empty space.

The music which had been almost painful to my ears, faded and seemed far away. There was a gap in front of me, an empty space from the dancing and swaying crowd.

On ground laid a silver necklace, and the world blurred as my eyes couldn't help but focus on the jewelry.

I moved forward and bent down, fingers touching the necklace which almost seemed to glow in the darkness.

I gazed at the necklace in my palm, seeing several charms, but unable to make them out in the darkness. Did... this fall off someone? Why did I even pick it up?

I stepped off the dance floor, shoving past people, necklace clutched in my tight fist. I stepped away from a man's hand, walking over to Carla.

She was touching a girls face, another woman in her lap. I timidly walked into front of Carla, and she smiled. "Thanks ladies, but I have to go," she stood, ignoring the woman's whine.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" Carla asked me and raised an eyebrow.

I shook my head and wiped my sweaty forehead. "No, where's Zoe?"

Carla smirked and pointed behind her. I did a double take at the doe shifter making out with a man passionately.

I giggled. "Looks like she's having fun," the necklace was hot in my fist. Carla nodded and wrapped an arm around me.

"I'm surprised you aren't with a guy, anyone here would gladly-" Carla paused. "Never mind, you wouldn't betray your sexy vampire."

I blushed. "I- we aren't - I'm not-!"

Carla laughed and starting pulling me to where Zoe was. "It's okay, I won't push you, it's good for you to take your time."

I sighed under my breath as Carla cleared her throat, making Zoe glance up. "You gonna leave with him?" Carla asked bluntly.

Zoe nodded and went back to sucking face. "Just be back in time for breakfast pouring!" Carla cheered and promptly turned and started going towards the entrance.

I raised my hand and looked at the necklace as she pushed her way through the crowd. Carla inhaled and cheered as we stepped into the open air. "How was that? Fun right?"

I looked up and nodded. "Yeah, it was," I agreed as we got into her car. I buckled and looked at Carla with a gentle smile. "Hey, thanks..."

Carla frowned. "What for?"

I bit my lip. "For being my first friend," my eyes watered. Carla took my hand quickly.

"Of course, I got you, who wouldn't want to be friends with your sexy ass?" I laughed and wiped my eyes with a single hand.

"You're awesome and super thoughtful, I'm lucky to have met you," I told Carla as she drove over the speed limit by a good ten miles per hour.

Carla rolled the window down and cranked up the radio. "Let's get this party started!" As Worth It by Fifth Harmony began playing, I learned how fun it was to sing with a female friend who wasn't a bitch.

I sighed as Carla parked at the entrance of the Hotel. "We'll do this again," Carla told me and grinned. "I left my purse in the hotel, do you want to wait here or come in with me?" She asked.

I unbuckled. "I'll come in with you," I told her and climbed out. Carla led the way and we stepped inside the hotel dark.

I heard a sharp intake of breath and looked over. Malcus stared at me wide eyes, and it took a long moment for me to figure out why.

I looked at my clothes and flushed.

"Where the hell, did you go, looking like that?!" Malcus demanded, making Carla shake her head.

"Men," she sighed as I struggled to find an answer.

"I- well, i-it," I sputtered and decided to just hide behind Carla. I peeked at Malcus, his eyes flashing black to brown.

I grabbed the back of Carla's dress. "I'm going to bed!" I announced and made a mad dash out of the hotel, leaving Carla laughing and Malcus staring after me with dark eyes.
