Chapter 3

Alastars Pov

I woke up on my bed next to angel he was sound asleep I then checked the clock the time was 6:00am an hour early. Me and Angel designed the bedroom together it was half dark red with red stripes on the wall the other half was white with pink hearts on the wall there was my old staerio and nuggets bed. I got out of bed carefully and left the room and entered the kitchen I poured myself a glass of water from the sink and drank it "my nightmares are getting worse every night is the same dream"

I recall my dream

Me and Angel were walking home when all the sudden we were ambushed by valentino, vox, angels father along with exterminators. A fight breaks out me and Angel fight them with all our might and as we are about to win the fight my powers disappeared and they get the better of us they then tie me up and make me watch them torture and tear Angel apart like I tore them apart and the worst part is they don't kill me they leave me alive

Then I wake up and realise it was only a nightmare I get and I wash my face from the sink "why do i kept having these dreams what if they become real no no it can't become real there dead I saw them die all of them valentino was killed by me after he allowed Angel to be raped and vox was also killed by me after he tried to avenge valentino Angel was in a coma for months after that and next is angels father Angel killed him as he was going to kill me took me awhile to heal from that the thing all of them have in common was the material that disabled my powers I've tried to figure out what it is but it is an unidentified iron my pet name for it is "kryptonite" my theory is it comes from a dangerous place called "the devil's row" it is a dangerous pit even I can't handle so it's too risky to confirm that theory. After a few minutes I get dressed and take a walk

Angels Pov

I wake up and realise Alastar is gone, he's probably out but it is quite early for him he must of had another nightmare he thinks he can hide it but I know him, I get up and get changed I put on some black shorts and a light pink hoodie and head to the kitchen Alastar will probably be back soon I'll make breakfast I put on some pancakes and wait for him

Few minutes later

Alastar walks in the door and puts on his usual fake smile "ah good morning angel" I then reply "morning al did you have a good walk?" He then replied "I did" when Alastar sits down I ask "so what are we going to do about the kid" Alastar then said "we should probably try to find her parents if we can't do that we should let her stay at the hotel" and I said "are you sure we should leave her at the hotel?" Alastar then said "it's the safest place in hell Angel" I then said "I know but don't you thi" Alastar interrupted "angel I know it's not the best option but what else are we supposed to do" I then say "I don't know I just don't like the idea of her staying in that hotel" Alastar then grabs my hand gently and says "don't worry we will figure it out"

2 hours later

Alastars Pov

I enter the hotel and Charlie greets me she looks different I than say "I see you changed your look" she then says "yeah I thought it was time for a change" angel than says "looking good there Charlie" Charlie then says "thank you also Alastar I need you to come to my office" I say "alright" I than follow her into her office and sit down and she starts "Al I heard about you killing someone yesterday and has you know I don't like it when you kill someone" I then stand up and say "listen that man was a horrible person" and Charlie says "everyone is a horrible person we need to start taking this no killing rule seriously" I start speaking in a angry tone "are you saying I shouldn't have killed that man for raping f**ing kid" Charlie then said "wait what! no one told me of that" and I say "and if you wish to know I gave that man a chance to walk away but he did not accept it"
Charlie then says "well at least you tried using words first you have improved alot for the past 4 years I am proud of you Al" and I said "Thank you Charlie" as I was about to leave Charlie asks me "do you think we're wasting our time" and turned around and say "what do you mean?" Charlie then says "we've been at this for 4 years and still no proof that redemption is even possible" I sit down and say "okay say it is not possible does it matter?" Charlie says "huh?" I continue "even if pure redemption isn't possible look at what you have accomplished all those people out there are have better lives thanks to you even if you can't bring them heaven you have given them a piece of it you have brought some heaven too hell" Charlie mood lightens and she says "maybe your right anyway you can go now" I then say bye to Charlie and leave

At the med bay

I open the door with a plate of food she is still there I walk over to her and offer it to her and say "you should probably eat you must be starving" she then "thanks" she quickly takes the plate and I say "how are you feeling today" she replies "better" I then said "I never asked you what's your name?" And she says "Elizabeth" I then said "that's a lovely name Elizabeth" I then say "who are your parents?" And she says "why?" I reply "I'm trying to find them to bring you ho"
She screams "IM NOT GOING BACK!!!!" I then say "Shhhh shhhh it's okay it's okay you don't have to go back if you don't want to but I must ask why?" She then sighed and says "I left home because they were going to sell me for drug money" I than shout "What!" She continued "they always shouted at me for the littlest things I had a sister that was 5 years younger they sold her for drug money I was too scared to do anything I cried all day that day I never saw her again" I noticed she started to cry and out of no where she hugged me and I said "it's okay" she then cries into my arms and she said "I was a coward I should have done something" and I said "there ain't nothing you could have done"

An hour later

In the hotel kitchen

Angels Pov

Where the fuck is Al. I walk around for a bit and see Al walking out of the med bay and I say "is she alright" and he said "physically yes mentally and emotionally far from it.....I need to talk to you"

Few minutes later

"Well we can't give her back to them monsters" I said and Al replied "yes yes I know and were not but there is a child out there and we need to find her" Al wants to find the kids sister I agree with him. I than said "okay let's find her"
