Chapter 21

"what do you want to say" angel asked the man and the man then replied "listen Alastar needs you more then you or even he realizes you might not think your a big part of this but trust me you are" angel then asked "what?" the man then said "there's no Time to explain a bad thing is about to happen" this made angel feel nervous and he asked "What!" the man then said "there is a bomb buried here in this hotel and once it detonates this hotel will die" angel then asked "how do you know this" the man then looked down and said "I've been meeting up with your husband for a long time now and he thinks he now knows who I am but I've been lying to him about me for so long because if he knew the truth it might break him and it might break you too darling" angel then stepped closer and said "who are you?" the man then turned towards angel and he nodded and slowly took off his hood

angel looked in horror as the person she saw was "Al?" The man in the black hood had a face that looked like Alastars but he looked much older and he had a scar across his eye and was missing an eye and he said "hi angel it's been awhile" angel then without even thinking hugged him and Alastar hugged back so tightly that angel thought he hasn't felt this in a long time. angel then said "what's going on" Alastar then said "now that my darling is a long ass story but the short version is I'm from the future to save me and you and Elizabeth our daughter" Angel then felt like he was about to fall over and he said "Wait what!" Alastar then said "that's also a long story but that doesn't matter okay what matters is that you survive today" angel then said "why are you choosing to talk to me right now" and Alastar then looked down and said "dear today Is the day you died I remember every single detail like it was yesterday i held you in my arms as the hotel burned those nightmares that your Alastar has been having those aren't nightmares there my memories that haunt me so I'm sorry about that but I need your help I need you to kill the devil" angel then said "you want me to kill Charlie's father" Alastar then laughed "no no no not him I mean the real devil the actual one some might even say the original not that face up in that palace but the one who's about to blow up the hotel" angel then yelled "Then why are we still here!" Alastar then spoke "because my dear this is how we kill him" angel started to feel uneasy at Alastar expression and then he pulled out a knife and said "I once thought maybe we could both survived I tried to warn him but he never listened he never trusted me but now I know that we can't change the past so I'm sorry my dear angel but-" Alastar then stabbed himself in the neck and angel ran over to him as he fell to the floor dying but then he said "one day your Al will be me but he won't be alone" angel then cried out "no your not dying here Al" Alastar then said "no it's time I finally rest but do me a favor and take care of me and my dumbass daughter will you but remember I or past me can never know who I was" angel then nodded and kissed Alastar and he saw a tear run down Alastar face and Al then said "you know I r-re_remember our wedding I honestly thought the fun would n-never end but I guess forever after i-is a dream but it's a good dream and I'm going to go see my mother now and angel I have one last request" angel leaned in and Al whispered "smile will you your smile brightens every room it enters" angel smiles as he sees Al's body disappear and then he sees some kind of energy come out of Al's disappearing body and that energy moves in angel and angel blacks out

Alastars Pov

I need to get back to the hotel fast if vox was telling the truth then the hotel is going to *bang* in the distance I see an explanation where the hotel is I need to hurry

3rd person pov

Alastar arrived at the scene to find the hotel burning down to the ground everyone seems to be evaluated everyone but "angel!" Alastar yells then Elizabeth runs over to him and Alastar looks at her like he finally sees it. Elizabeth says "he's still in there with a man in a hood in the basement come on we have to get them out" Alastar then says "stay here okay promise me you will stay here protect your sister I'll go get them" I then run into the burning building I first check through the lobby but I can barley see through all the smoke and I am finding it hard to breathe
I then run towards the basement and find angel unconscious on the ground but no sign of the man in the black hood

I run over to angel and pick him up and run head to the stairs but the celling collapses on the stairs "shit" I say to myself I look down at angel in my arms something about him feels different but I don't know what
nevermind that I need to get him out of here but how the stairs are gone

I then suddenly remembered I have my powers back but there weaker I don't know if this will work but it's my best bet

I begin to fly up to wear the celling collapsed struggling as I get higher from the ground I can feel my powers draining
there back but not fully
"No I will not let him die I will not let myself die here"
I then try to concentrate more and more and then remember the man's advice to use my emotions
I think of my mother how I failed to save her twice I think of my father who I murdered twice I then for the first time think of my victims from my human life did they deserve the punishment I gave them was it my right to punish them no I didn't punish them I executed them like it was my call what if somebody loved them what if they loved them the same way I loved my mother or the same way I love angel they had loved ones and because of me they lost them the same way I lost my mother I am my father no no I'm not like my father I'm worse then my father I am a monster and now I see it now I know I can never changed now I know the reason I really lost my powers and now I shall have them back

with these thoughts I feel my powers increase further then ever before and I shoot through the roof of the hotel until I'm floating in the sky holding angel in my arms "I am no longer afraid" I look down to angel and I can feel his heart beating like it's my own

I then fly down to the ground and put angel on the ground and I then look around to see everyone successfully managed to evacuate but then I notice
"Where's Elizabeth!" I get up and shout
everyone then starts looking around them and then husker says "she was here a few minutes ago"
I then start looking around the place searching for her but to no success
and then I see one of vox's men he must've planted the bomb if they did take her he would know

3rd person pov

vox's second hand man found himself tied up in a dark room he didn't know how he got here he can't remember he was about to run away from the burning hotel but then nothing. he looks around but can't see a thing then he sees a figure he knows to well "hello Alastar" the man says Alastar walks up to him and turns on a light above his head and he gets in close to his face and says "you know I'm tied of this I'm tied of torturing people for information so how about we play a game it's called answer my question everytime you answer truthfully you keep a limb and if you don't answer truthfully well" Alastar then pulls out his knife "you get to pick the limb"

Alastars Pov

"question 1 where is Elizabeth" I say holding the knife to his knee the man then says "I don't know no Elizabeth" his heart rate increased "you know I can feel your heart rate" I then stab his knee and the man screams in pain and I slap him in the face "that was the most least painful thing I could have done with my knife now answer my question or you better have your limb picked" the man pulls himself together and says "she's been taken too one of vox's old safe houses in the old ruins of hell" I then says "good boy now was that so hard"

"question 2 where did you get the bombs" the man then says "it was just one bomb vox's boss gave us them it was like something I never seen before"

"question 3 where is vox's boss"
"I can't tell you that you know who he is and what he would do" I then grab his head and say "what limb?" the man starts to tear up eyes filled with fear as he starts to shake his head saying "no no please" I then scream "What limb or I can choice for you if you want" without hesitation I cut into his wrist and chop of his hand as blood pours out of it and the man screams "Tell me where he is!"
"h-he is also in the ruins of ancient hell much deeper into it though"
"how do I get there"
"vox had a device in his old office that could take him there"

I walk out of the room with the man's hand in my hand thinking of how far it could have gotte- no I must go as far as I must to do this

I will kill the devil himself
