Back to School

****Nina's POV****

Sunday
7:00pm

Sonny and I got home around 3:00 he's taking the next week off for medical leave and Amanda is off as well so they both can record from it all.
Sonny asked if I wanted to go back to school tomorrow and I said that I did. Thankfully Elliot was able to recover my phone and backpack, and none of my stuff was harmed.

I laid on my bed not able to remember a single thing. The doctor doesn't want me to do cheer and dance for the next week, so of course another week off the team.

I heard a knock at the door

"Come in"
I said

It was Amanda

"Hey, I'm really glad you're home."
She smiled coming over and sitting on my bed

I sat up

"Are you ok?"
I asked

"Yeah just a concussion from getting hit in the head, and some anxiety over what happened but I'm meeting George tomorrow to talk to him."
Amanda said

"I'm really sorry what happened, happened. I don't remember anything still."
I said

"That's what your dad said, I want you to know I'm here if you need to talk as always."
Amanda said

"Thanks Amanda."
I smiled and hugged her
She returned the favor

We pulled away from one another

"I'm going to go check on your dad, I'm going to help him take a shower."
Amanda smiled sorta laughing

"Ok."
I smiled

Amanda left my room and I laid back down.

****Sonny's POV****

I laid in bed with Amanda and I was Rubbing my stomach

"Broken ribs hurt like a bitch."
I said

"I know honey."
Amanda ran her hand through my hair

"Thank you for everything Amanda."
I said

"We're in this together."
Amanda said

I looked up at her

"I love you Amanda."
I said

"I love you Sonny."
She smiled

Amanda leaned into me and we kissed

****Nina's POV****
Monday

I got up and showered and got ready for school

I heard out where I could smell breakfast but in all honesty I wasn't hungry not a bit

"Hey good morning Nina."
Sonny smiled

"Good morning."
I smiled

I sat down at the table

"I'm making some waffles this morning Nina, how does that sound?"
Amanda said

"I'm not hungry but thank you."
I said

"Nina you didn't eat dinner last night either."
Sonny said

"I'm just not hungry."
I smiled

Trying to brush it off

"Well hey Nick is going to take you and pick you up From school today. Did you let your coach know you can't cheer this week per doctors orders?"
Sonny asked

"Yeah, she understood. It sucks I've been out two weeks now."
I said

"You'll get back into it again."
Sonny smiled
