Brain Surgery Day

****Sonny's POV****

It's Monday
Today is the day of Nina's Brain surgery
We are all scared

Nina and I was up most of the night, we talked, laughed, reflected, cried some of it we did all at one time. I'm glad we had that time together.

Nina hasn't had any pain in her words she's had "nothing but peace and yesterday was the best day she's had in along time." She in her words "I had the best Father daughter dance, and it felt like I was at prom but even better because I danced with my first prince and it was my dad."
That broke my heart and touched my heart all at once

I was laying with Nina on her hospital bed, she was due Any time to go back for surgery.
Amanda, baby Joey, Nick, Olivia, Fin, and Noah was all here.

Noah sat on the bed

"Nina I love you, I love you so much."
Noah grabbed her hand

Dr Manning came in with Meredith
I knew it was time
Both were suited and ready to go, although Meredith wasn't doing the surgery she was going to be in there with Nina, to observe she's been with her this whole time on this journey.

"Nina are you ready to go back for surgery?"

"You can walk with us until we get to the final stop if you like."

I put Nina's letter in my pocket and held her hand and walked with them down the hallway

"Alright this is where we part ways."

I sat in the waiting room with Olivia, Fin, Nick, Amanda, and Noah. Amanda was holding Joey and he was sleeping soundly

I was very anxious and nervous as ever
We had been waiting a-little over an hour  The surgery was expected to be 2 hours hours depending on how Things went and when we would get updates.

Dr Manning came out silently and took her surgical mask off her face.
