Part 6: Kids...

//Monty stood there with his back to you. His shoulders moved up and down as he huffed out breaths. You walk up to him, peering around to see what he was looking at. A large metal speaker was smashed and broken on the floor. Monty muttered under his breath.

"It's all my fault... I'm so sorry... It should have been me."

You move closer, gently touching his shoulder. In these past months working here, you'd never seen him act like this.

His head shot over to you, a snarl plastered on his face. It looked as if he was about to scold you.

You tilted your head at him, wondering why he paused. He wasn't the type to control his outbursts.

"Y/N... you should leave." He growled out, turning his head to look forward again.

You've heard the rumors many times by now. Monty was a vicious animatronic who killed Bonnie to get into the band.

You looked down at his scuffed hand, squeezed tightly into a fist.

Monty broke the day Bonnie did. You see that now.

"I'd rather stay..."//

Suddenly, Monty did something that never really happened. He growled out, swinging his claw at you, screaming, "Get out."

You quickly bring your hand to your face, jolting up in your bed.

Your cheek was warm and wet. You scrambled to your bathroom mirror only to find tears.

You sigh out, wiping at your cheeks.

Your throat was still sore, and your eyes felt rubbed raw. Who would have known a robot could have you breaking apart like this.

He was your best friend. The more you realized that the less weird it felt.

You hop in the shower, deciding to get ready for the day. The warm water trickled down your face.

You took longer than normal, but soon enough, you were all clean.

You decided while getting dressed that you would go get coffee first. You'd buy a big batch of doughnuts for the whole tech crew. You felt like you had to do something to thank them for their hard work.

You messaged Joyce on your Fazwatch, asking about her coworkers' allergies. You explained that you planned to bring down some doughnuts.

Joyce messaged back as you were walking through the staff halls. She explained that some of the techs couldn't eat gluten, and one had a peanut allergy.

Once you got to the food court, you ordered two separate boxes and your coffee. Waddling your way to parts and service while balancing your grub.

Monty was still inside the main repair station. Though he still didn't have arms and legs, the rest of his body looked in perfect condition now.

"Y/N! Here, give me those boxes. Let's set them down over here." Joyce offers her help.

Placing the doughnuts on one of the unused tables. It was still hectic here, but it was a lot calmer than yesterday.

"Thanks for the cheer up. I'll be sure to tell Monty you've been visiting him when we wake him up."

"You're waking him up soon?" You perk up, your eyes glued to the animatronics'.

"Yeah, we're gonna be attaching the new endo arms today."
