I made my way onto deck carefully. I didn't have a lot of strength, but I also didn't want to wait in bed until we reached shore. I wanted to see Sindria with me own eyes. A few beams of sunlight broke through the clouds. Just like in the anime when Alibaba first saw it, there was a lot of cloud coverage. Clouds do tend to surround islands so that was to be expected.

I couldn't help but think about how strangely comfortable the warm weather was now that my fever wasn't so bad. I was someone who was very susceptible to the heat and the sun. I had worn my hood up back in Balbadd out of habit, but maybe I didn't need to -just like when I was little.

Back home the start of summer was starting to feel like the high of the summers of my childhood. I had gotten severe sunburns back in highschool that took 8 years to fade. Even indoors I'd breakout in hives from the heat and my breathing would suffer, but at least I didn't burn.

This sun was definitely warm and a tad hot, but it was not the sharp heat from a thin ozone layer. I could enjoy the sun again.

My heart swelled. I wanted to tell my younger sibling. We were always there for each other back home, and they were the main person who took care of me when I got sick. They knew how bad the heat was for me.

I walked to the bow of the ship where the three kids were standing and joined them in staring at the growing island in the distance. I put my bag down next to me; I wanted to watch until the last second.

Alibaba was telling Aladdin and Morgiana about The Adventures of Sinbad, and everything he knew about Sindria. It was nice seeing him enjoy this moment. Even if he went back to mourning in a few hours, at least he was letting himself have this. And his fanboying was cute.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited for similar reasons. My sibling had also gotten into Magi with me. Because of the financial situation we were trapped in we had often mused about getting Isekaied and moving to Sindria. Their interest started to wane while the franchise became a major hyperfixaction for me -maybe even special interest levels. At least, one of us had made it here.

"Oh!" Aladdin cut Alibaba off when he noticed me. "Miss Mori, are you well enough to be out here?"

"I'm better enough to stand and watch things." I answered with the best smile I could muster -like a lier. "I told you earlier, I'll rest as soon as we get settled in." My body wasn't in pain anymore, just drained. ... Okay, maybe my throat was still raw from flehm but it wasn't a new pain, and I might still have a light fever, and my head did kinda ache and... I should probably be resting, but-

"I'm glad you're feeling better." King Sinbad had walked up behind us. He had his arms crossed. "But I'd still prefer you see a doctor as soon as we land."

I turned to face him and tried my best to hide the fact that the railing was the only thing holding me up. "I intend to." I kept my tone light hearted. "My fever may have broke, but I'm not better yet." Knowing my body, it would probably take a week to be anything near 'better.'
