The Answer is a Riddle

A promise is made

At Transfiguration, we go to the back of class. A boy sits next to Artemis while a red haired boy sits next to me.
"Hello, is this seat taken?" I look around to find Polly sitting next to my Teo. Stupid girl.
"No, go for it."
"Where is your wand?"
"I don't have one. I use a spell book as a vessel for magic."
"That's very interesting."
"Alright class, settle down."

*time skip*

I got my dinner early so I could feed Pangur Bán. I haven't let him out of our room since I got here. He starts chasing a butterfly, my cute boy, when a thought crosses my mind.
"Hey Bán, come here."
*What is it Mama?*
"I want you to meet my friend?"
*I don't think that is wise. What if she tells on you?*
"She won't she has her own familiar. We can trust her. She's my best friend."
*Well if I can see her before we meet I will see if she is good.*
"Deal."
"Hey Esme. Who're you talking to?" I look at Pangur Bán and he nods.
"Hi Art, well I got to see your familiar, here's mine." He emerges from between my legs and sniffs her hand. He the comes over and lays down next to me.
"His name is Pangur Bán. So what took you so long?"
"Oh Theo stopped me in the hallway."
"He did? What did he want?"
"He wanted to know if I was mad at him." She started to pet Bán.
"Are you?"
"No, not anymore. He's so confusing. He keeps sending me mixed signals. I'm just gonna focus on classes for a while. All these boys and problems aren't helping me. I'm gonna ride my broom somewhere to study my History of Magic homework." We said our goodbyes and went out separate ways. I pull out my spell book to do my charms homework. As I am focusing, I can sense someone's presence.
"I know you're there so you guys can come out now." Teo and Draco come out from behind a pillar.
"Hi Draco. Hi Teo." My book slowly goes down to the ground, it floats.
"I have missed you all day. Stupid Polly." Said Teo.
"Yeah and Pansy." Added Draco.
"How did you manage to get rid of them?" I asked. Teo grins mischievously
"We told them we were heading for the bathroom." He says. I shake my head laughing. Pangur Bán comes out and jumps around Draco and Teo.
*Mama Draco and Teo are here!!!*  They go down to pet he sweetly.
"He boy."
"How is our little helper?"
*I'm good guys!!!*  My sweet boy.

~Mattheo's P.O.V~

I met Pangur Bán over the summer. He is this cute little fox creature. I love the little guy. He is playfully barking at me and Draco. Esme laughs and her book starts floating again, suddenly. . .
*DRACO TEO!!! I MISSED YOU GUYS. Mama keeps me locked up in her room. This is the first time I have been outside. She is scared that a professor will take me away.*
"I know baby boy." I say to him, petting him, wait. . .
"I don't know why she doesn't just go to the Headmaster about you."
*You guys can understand me?*
"How did that happen?" I ask.
"I casted a spell on you guys so you can hear him. I imagine his barking can get annoying."
*HEY!!!* Then she giggled, she is so perfect. I sit by her and Draco sits on her other side.
"We promise not to let Pansy and Polly get in the way tomorrow." I say as Draco nods. She sticks out both her pinkies
"Pinky promise?" We both interlock our fingers with her, I feel sparks.
"Pinky promise." We say in unison. I trudge slowly with my next questions
"Have you. . . remembered anything from last year?"
"You mean my accident?"
"Yeah." She looks off into the distance
"Tarot Cards." I look at her confused the. Draco's eyes shine with realization. He remembers something.
"Like the ones Pansy gave you?" He says. Right she did readings last year.
"Maybe those exact ones. Because I don't remember Pansy giving me tarot cards." Those have to be it. So Pansy was trying to curse Esme. But. . . why? It might have to do with Draco. Nice going cousin. I glare at him. Esme puts her hand on her head.
"Sorry I all of a sudden got a really bad headache."
"Then we will stop." I wish I could help you.
