Chapter 7- Old ties broken

DAMON'S POV

I went home to see if Alex was in her room. She had called me or was picking up her phone. I searched for her all the way back but I couldn't find her. "She's not downstairs either" Stefan said. I quickly rushed down and sat on the couch "I should have never let her go alone Stefan" I said almost breaking down.

Stefan gave me a glass of bourbon and sat next to me "It will be alright brother, we will find her in the morning. She is a strong original hybrid, she will be safe." He said "I can only hope!" I said

ALEX'S POV

"How are you alive?" I asked. It was Richard who was standing in front of me, the man who my father killed a thousand years ago. The man that I was in love with. "I am. It's a miracle really. Well, I just got resurrected an year ago" he said "By who?" I asked intrigued "I won't tell you" he said taking out a gun and shoot a vervain dart on my hand. I screamed in pain "Why are you doing this to me?" I said "I want revenge." He said

"So you will torture me?" I asked "Of course I would. I mean it was your father that killed me, your father that killed my pack. I want revenge" he said. "But I thought...... you loved me." I said "Loved you?" he laughed "Don't be silly. You were just a path for me to Klaus but when he found out about us I had no place to run so he killed me before I could take my revenge." This hurt me so bad.

It was worse than all the pain I had felt in my life altogether. Tears started rolling down my eyes "How could you?" I shouted. "Stop shouting" he said. Suddenly a man in his mid-20, black hair and sea green eyes walked in. "She is calling you" he told Richard "Ok I am coming. Keep an eye on this girl if she tries to run or escape shoot her with these wooden darts" Richard said giving him the gun. He then walked towards me and gently held my face in his hand "Don't make him hurt you" he said

"Go away." I shouted. Who resurrected him? How was I going to get out of here? I left my family for him. I left everyone I loved for him. How could I have ever been so stupid? How did I fall in love with this jerk?

DAMON'S POV

I knocked the door on Klaus' mansion. It has almost been a day and I am not able to find Alex. She hasn't come home. I went to all her favorite places to see if she was there but I could find her nowhere. So I tried the next thing I could, talk to Klaus. Her disappearance felt like Klaus to me. He must've trapped Alex again. To my surprise Elijah opened the door "You're back. Where's Klaus?" I asked

"Hello Damon, I do not know where my brother is. Why do you need to see him?" Elijah asked. I ignored his question and walked inside "Klaus" I shouted "Where are you come down here." "'What is going on?" I heard Klaus' voice as he walked towards me. I went towards him and punched him. He got angry but I ignored it "What have you done to Alex?" I asked angrily

"I haven't seen Alexandra since last week Damon" he said "Don't lie Klaus, I am sure you have daggered her again" "I can't do that Damon, My mother burned the one I had" he said. Elijah nodded. "Then where is she?" I shouted "I don't know Damon." I saw a concerned look on Klaus' face. Suddenly I heard a phone ringing. It was Klaus'. I used my vamp-hearing to hear what the person on the other side was saying

"Hello?" Klaus said "Hello Niklaus Mikaelson" it was a man's voice "Who are you?" Klaus said "Don't you recognize me Niklaus? The love of you daughter, Well let me clear your doubts, it's me, Richard Collinwood" "Richard?" I saw Klaus' face turning into anger. Waitaminute Richard? He was the werewolf Alex was in love with. How is he alive? He was dead. "What have you done to Alexandra?" Klaus shouted "Oh nothing, just kept her off blood, drained her out and fed her with wolfs bane, witch tox and vervain." He said "I will find you and I will kill you." Klaus said angrily "Try." Richard said as he cut the call.

Alex was in big danger and it was my turn to rescue her.

ALEX'S POV

I had been shot twice in my legs with wooden bullets by the stupid werewolf Richard had left to watch me. I was not able to heal as I didn't have any blood in me. I tried moving my hand but I was tied to the wall. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door as soon as the guy went to open it, I took my chance and tried to move myself but I was stopped by Richard. "Trying to go somewhere?" he said. "Let me go." I shouted. He handed me a blood bag with a straw in it "Here" he said as he put the bag in front of my mouth

. As my hands were tied I was not able to hold the bag so he held it for me while I drank it. "Well that's enough" he said taking the bag away from me when it was only like one sip "I need you to be alive" he said. "Why are you doing this? I thought our love was real" I said "It was. Until I died." Richard said coming towards me as he sat right in front of me face to face. Our faces were just a few inches apart. I could feel his heartbeat

"you've got some blood below your lip. Here let me get it for you." He said as he gently touched my face with his finger and wiped the blood away. I could feel my heart skipping a beat. I don't know why, I mean I know he had me trapped he was torturing me, I was deeply in love with Damon but there was something about Richard for a second that reminded me of the old him, the man I loved. How could I be so stupid?

All my thoughts were broken when I saw him injecting me with vervain. I screamed "you're a jerk" I said as I felt my face turning into a vampire one. "Stop this right now" I said "Or what?" he mocked me "Will you get up and kill me I'd like to see you try" he continuing

I was sitting in the corner defeated waiting for someway so that I could run out of this hell hole. "I will tell you something" Richard said. I ignored him. "Hey, look at me" I could see his face turning angry. I still ignored him. He took out the gun with the wooden bullets and shot me on my stomach. I groaned in pain "stop doing this" "now that I've got your attention I need to tell you a story."

"What?" I said "The story of I resurrected. You see when your father killed me about 500 years ago I actually died. I was in the other side. The one where the supernatural go after they die.so I stayed there for about 500 years hoping for you to die and come here with me or at least you would try to resurrect me but you always failed. But this year about 6 months ago I woke up one day and I could suddenly touch things I could feel things. I went around to see if I could find you and what did I see? You in that guys arms kissing him." Rage filled his eyes.

"I...." I didn't know what to say "Shut up. But then I found her, she said that she wanted revenge from Klaus. She told me that she would bring me back forever and I could live as an immortal all I had to do was avenge Klaus and kill you" he continued "Who was she?" I asked "Why would I tell you? You are just an extra bonus." He said "Who is she?" my voice got angrier "Esther Mikaelson!"
