-------------------Percy's POV:---------------------

"You sure you're feeling okay? We can go back to the cave immediately. No one would be angry" Tim said, leaning into my sight as we walked. A smirk appeared on my face as I looked over to him. He had a small yet concerned look on his face, his eyebrows dipped slightly only adding to this vibe.

"Yes Tim, I'm fine okay? Nothing that can't be fixed at home. I just need more rest and I'd much rather sleep at my OWN house, okay?"

He took a deep breath nodding hesitantly. "Right, of course. It's just if you-" I stopped him, turning him to face me as I grabbed his hands. I looked up to look directly into his eyes. They swam with nervousness and fear. I wanted him to calm down, I mean I had just woken up. All I really wanted to do was hang out with him.

"Tim" He nodded once. "I'm fine. I'll tell you if I'm not feeling alright. All I want to do right now is hang out with you, but I can't do that if you're freaking out. So calm down?" I quickly put my hands on his shoulders so that I could pull myself up as I planted a quick kiss to his cheek.

When I came back down he had a light dusting of pink on his cheeks and a more confident smile. "Okay, but...more kisses" I couldn't stop my small chuckle as I nodded.

"Absolutely. Now lets get home okay?" He nodded more confidently this time as he looked down at my hand before grasping it quickly, squeezing ever so slightly. I squeezed back as we started walking.

The walk was short but refreshing as I hadn't been outside for over a week. I had told everyone that I was up and they were all planning on coming over in a couple days. I admit I was excited to see them all again. At least now under extremely different circumstances.

By the time we made it to the apartment I had only just realized that my apartment had been unlocked the whole time. Tim nearly had a panic attack when he saw me worrying, he had mistaken my worry for not feeling good and I was almost dragged all the way back.

Once me made it though I found a note on my door and the key gone.

"Dear Percy,

I find it incredibly thoughtless that you have forgotten to lock your apartment door and under such bad circumstances. Your key is hidden now so please, be more responsible. I'm doing this on behalf of your family and my own worry.

-Hecate"

I smiled at the note in relief as I looked around for the key. Luckily I found it on top of the door so I managed to jump and grab it before unlocking the door and going back into my apartment. The place was cold and dark but with a quick flip of a switch the room was flooded with light. I smiled as I walked in, looking back over all the images.

My first move though was to hop on my couch. It was like coming back to an old friend as it welcomed me with a soft hug. I smiled to myself as I laid down, getting comfortable. I heard Tim chuckle from above me as he shut the door, pulling the note inside with it.

"Are you hungry?" He asked, leaning over the back of the couch to look at me. I shook my head as I took a deep breath.

"I'm pretty okay, I'm just tired though. Using my powers like that was-"

"Reckless? Dangerous? Potentially deadly?"

"Dam you Triton, you gullible fool." I mumbled though Tim rolled his eyes.

"Triton is not a fool for telling me what could have happened to you. Now stop being so comfortable and scoot over." Tim said as he started to make his way around the couch.

"He is so a fool" I said before scooting back, turning on my side so that he had room as well. With a dip of the couch Tim laid down besides me so that I was face to face with him. He had a small smile, one that looked content as we just sat in a comfortable silence.

With a swift movement he leaned forwards and kissed me on the forehead. My heart beat a bit quicker as he did so and I couldn't help but smile harder. After doing so he pulled me close to him with one arm, running his fingers through my hair with the other.

"You promise you feel better?" His voice was quiet, but heartfelt. I looked up at him, but he continued focusing on my hair.

"I promise."

"You promise you won't keep something like that from me again? Next time just tell me. We can figure something out together okay?"

I just nodded as my eyes drooped. "I swear on the river styx" I mumbled, a distant sound of thunder rumbling off in the distance.

It was hard not to close my eyes as the warmth spread through me and before I knew it I was out.

--------------------------Tim's pov:----------------------------

It wasn't long before Percy was asleep, her sleeping figure rested peacefully in front of me as I ran my fingers through her soft hair.

I was glad Percy was back, I admit I was terrified when she disappeared like that so suddenly. Not to mention the fact that she didn't tell anyone, but I'm glad that she'll tell me from now on. It'll save me a lot of headaches.

After a while I decided to let Percy rest as I had some things to do. As gently and slowly as I could I pushed myself back and off the couch, though Percy didn't wake. She must be really tired. After some time I had managed to leave the room silently as I headed towards the bed room where all my things were. I opened the door, expecting to see a couple things on the floor but instead I found a box laying on the bed.

My eyebrows scrunched together as I walked forwards. I looked inside the shoe box to find a bunch of notes and some other things. Though on top I found an envelope with my name on it. Curiosity got the better of me as I picked it out of the box, revealing that all the other notes had names on them as well.

I noticed that were certain spots on the envelop that were wrinkled and shriveled like they'd been exposed to water. My eyes opened in realization as I realized these were written by Percy. My urge to open the envelope increased as I quickly ripped it open.

My eyes grazed over the note and my heart hurt at the defeated tone throughout it.

"Dear Tim,

gods, there are so many things I want to tell you. Well actually just one big thing I'd like to ask you. If I don't make it I just want you to know that I really like you. Like a lot. I also want you to know that I did all of this for you guys, though that's no reason to blame yourself, I did this all on my own accord. I want you all to live, to experience things for me. Like... well I don't really know at the moment but fun stuff. I want you to forget about me and live happily okay? So please know that I wish that I could've done more with you and maybe I will, though I really don't see that happening."

The message seemed to trail off for a minute before picking back up into something legible.

"Sorry that was a bit dark wasn't it. There are supposed to be happy notes but I guess I'm not doing a good job at that.

I guess I just want you to know that I care for you a lot Tim, so take care of yourself.

-forever and always, Percy"

I stared at the note for a while longer. The writing was messy and rushed, with different crinkling spots scattered all over showing where her tears had fallen. Immediately I felt bad for leaving her. So I quickly put the note back in the envelope before shoving it back into the bow and throwing that box underneath the bed. Of course I'd tell Percy where it was just in case she wanted people to have those notes but otherwise I'd be okay if they never came back out.

I walked back into the living room, deciding work could wait as I resumed my position next to Percy, holding her close.
