Happy Valentine's day, I know I am very late but time lagta hai type karne me😁😂
It was the evening of 11th February and Ishqi was sitting at her small house alone.
"Yeh mera kon awaara aashiq hai!? Iss pure hafte mujhe chocolate, teddy aur flowers bhi bhej diye hai. Aur naam, naam toh kahi likha hi nahi!?" Ishqi thought.
"Kya soch rahi hai meri jaan!?" Her best friend Ahaan came there. Ishqi showed another card which she recieved today after coming back from the office. "Ahaan yaar yeh kon hai? Aur sachh batau toh life me pehli baar mujhe kisi ke aise gifts par gussa nahi aa raha."
"Mtlb tumhe gussa nahi aa raha kon hai yeh tumhara aashiq!?" Ahaan raised his eyebrows. Ishqi shook her head, "Koi connect feel ho raha hai. Kuch toh hai jo mujhe pata nahi chal raha."
"Yeh toh khush hai, mtlb agar mai ise bata doon ki yeh saari gifts maine bheje hai toh baaki ladko ki tarah yeh mujhe nahi maaregi." Ahaan thought with a lot of hope.
"Kahi yeh vo mere office ka colleague Mayank ne toh nahi bheje. I really like him as a person." Ishqi dreamily said. Ahaan's heart broke into millions of pieces. All the parts loved her too.
"Achha hai tum agar use like karti ho toh, agar vohi hai toh bhot achha hai." Ahaan said controlling his tears. "Han mai bhi yahi soch rahi thi. Aur mai na kal use bata dungi jaake ki I like him too." Ishqi smiled.
"Ishqi mujhe jaana hai actually Kartik ka call aaya tha, office me meri zroorat hai." Ahaan said avoiding her gaze.
"Thike fir, aaj shaam ko aa rahe ho na?"
"Nahi yaar aaj office ke kuch assignments hai. Toh fir mai tumse milta hoon baad me." Ahaan left before his eyes say all the truth. Ishqi had never mentioned about Mayank before and thus he was heartbroken. He reached the office and went to his cabin directly. Kartik saw him leaving and was sure something is wrong.
"Kya hua bhai!? Ishqi ne reject kar diya kya?" Kartik said jokingly and then got a glare from Ahaan, this time filled with tears. Kartik got tensed and ran towards him, "Sorry bhai sorry. Mujhe nahi pata tha... "
"Pata toh mujhe bhi nahi tha Kartik ki vo kisi aur ko like karti hai." Kartik was shocked. "Aisa kaise ho sakta hai bhai? Maine uski aankhon me aapke liye pyaar khud dekha hai." Kartik said explaining and consoling Ahaan.
"Vo sirf dosti hai Kartik. Mai sirf uska ek best friend hu." Kartik gave him water. "Bhai ek baar try toh karo, ek baar toh apne dil ki baat kaho." Kartik asked him for the last time. Ahaan shook his head. "Ishqi jise like karti hai mai uske liye khush hu." Ahaan declared and got up.
"Thike bhai jaisi aapki marzi!" Kartik went to his cabin. He needed to give Ahaan the space he required. "Bhai mujhe toh abhi bhi lagta hai ki Ishqi di aapse hi pyaar karti hai." Kartik thought sitting in his cabin.
Next morning, Ahaan got up from his bed. His cold face maintained. All the family members knew Ishqi and were happy when Ahaan told them that he loves her but since the day before, he looked really sad. Kartik had asked everyone not to interrupt or disturb him as he needed space. Ahaan was having breakfast when he got a call from Ishqi. "Ahaan kaha ho tum? Kal se no call no text?" Ahaan just didn't reply for a moment.
"Vo Ishqi mai kal se busy tha thoda. Actually office me bhot kaam tha." Ahaan lied. "Yeh mujhe avoid kyu kar raha hai?" Ishqi thought after he cut the call. She was saddened by the fact, he ignored her. She suddenly remembered something and called Kartik, "Hey di, kaise ho aap?"
"Kartik, AVM ko kya ho gya hai? Kal se mujhe ignore kar raha hai." Kartik knew Ahaan's ignorance affected Ishqi much. "Dii unko office me sachh me kaam hoga shaayad." "Yeh ladka kabhi nahi bolega. Isme himmat hai hi nahi." Ishqi smacked her forehead. "Kartik meri baat dhyaan se suno."

The next two days even Ishqi ignored Ahaan. For that day at least his ignorance mattered to her but now, it didn't. Ahaan was saddened more after this. The whole family was tensed about him. Ahaan had left for the office 10 minutes before when Ishqi came there.
"Chachi, dadi kaise ho aap log." Ishqi hugged both of them. They both smiled and hugged her back and gave her blessings.
"Hum toh thik hai, bass Ahaan puttar..." Ishqi didn't let them finish. "Unhi ka ilaaj karne aayi hu mai aaj." Dadi and Chachi knew there's something in Ishqi's mind. They all smirked as soon as they heard.
It was the evening and Ahaan came back from the office. He entered the house to find no one and it was all dark. "Dadi! Chachi! Sonu! Koi ghar me hai nahi?" He was about to switch the light when a spotlight fell on Ishqi standing in the hallway dressed in a pretty red color gown with minimal makeup. She looked adorable and Ahaan couldn't stop himself from adoring her. "Ab mujhe pura yakeen ho gya hai ki tum kabhi aakar bologe nahi. Apni feelings ko batana toh durr ki baat hai kabhi hint bhi nahi dete. Isliye ab mai hi keh rahi hoon, I love you Ahaan."
Ahaan was shocked to see Ishqi sitting on her knees and proposing him. This was entirely unexpected for him. He couldn't speak for some time in shock.
"Ahaan! Ab jawaab toh dedo." Ishqi smiled and chuckled. Ahaan just opened his mouth then ran and made her stand up. He hugged her tightly as he didn't want this to be a dream. "I love you too Ishqi. I love you!" They both laughed together. All the family members came there hooting for them. Ahaan looked at everyone in astonishment.
"Bhai Ishqi di oops bhabhi ko kabse pata tha yeh gumshuda aashiq aap hi ho. Aapne bataya nahi, aur jab unhone aapko jealous krne ke liye Mayank ka naam liya, hey bhagwaan rehne hi do. Aapne bilkul hi ignore." Kartik said laughing.
"Isliye Ishqi ne hamare saath yeh plan banaya." Sonu said smiling. Ahaan grinned ear to ear. "Mujhe sach me nahi laga tha ki tum mujhse..."
"Pyaar karti hoon. Yaar kitna cute hai yeh banda!" Ishqi said laughing. All chuckled with her. "Arey mai toh bhool hi gyi, Happy Valentine's day. Jab se Mayank ka naam liya hai gifts bhejna bhi band kar diye." Ishqi said smirking.
Ahaan just smiled and got Ishqi's favorite chocolates for her.
"Ab chocolates ke aage Ishqi ka gussa gaayab." All family members said and laughed. Ahaan and Ishqi took blessings of the elders.
"Haww bhai, aap toh keh rahe the Valentine's sab stupidity hai. Yeh sab aapke 1921 ke thoughts me bhi hota hai!!" Sonu teased Ahaan. "I am a 2020 person now."
"Ishqi tumne toh bhai ko pura badal diya!" Both his siblings teased them again. Ishqi and Ahaan blushed.
It was their new journey from being best friends and now being lovers. Their new Untootable Bond was all set to face any difficulty ever coming.
