"Mommy you look beautiful!" Emma gasped as Derek helped Meredith downstairs
"Thank you sweetie" Meredith smiled softly
Derek led her towards the couch so she could sit down. The two girls parading in front of Meredith
"You two look gorgeous" Meredith smiled "Two princesses"
The two girls giggled in response and turned around a few times to show off their new and shiny dress
"Mommy, do you wanna play with us?" Emma asked softly
Meredith didn't wanna disappoint her daughters, definitely not today, not on Emma's 5th birthday
"Sounds good, maybe we should play here with your dolls, I can feed them" She smiled softly
"I'll go grab our baby!" Ava announced and ran off while Emma grabbed all the belongings
"Don't overdo it, if you're tired then tell them, okay?" Derek quickly said
"I know Der" Meredith sighed "Just wanna spend some time with my girls"
"I'll go see if I can help mom" Derek kissed her lips
"Mommy, hold the baby!" Ava handed the doll to Meredith
"Holding her" Meredith giggled
"She's hungry!" Emma handed the bottle to Meredith
"Why don't you feed her?" Meredith suggested, her arms felt heavy
"No, you're the bestest mommy!" Emma smiled
"Oh honey" Meredith teared up
"Em's right" Ava nodded
"I love you babies" Meredith smiled softly
"Here mommy!" Emma gave the bottle to her mom again
Meredith's hands were heavily shaking as she was holding the baby's bottle
"Mommy, should I take over?" Ava asked concerned
"That would be nice" Meredith's hands heavily shook as she handed the doll over to her oldest daughter despite Emma's sad expression
"Hi guys" Mark smiled as he took a seat next to them
"Hi Markie" Meredith breathed and rested her head on his shoulder
"Tired?" He asked as he softly rubbed her back
"A bit but it's okay" Meredith smiled softly "Enjoying some time with my girls" Meredith smiled
"How's the baby doing?" Mark asked the girls
"She's good. Mommy and Ava gave her a bottle" Emma smiled
"Oh I see" Mark chuckled
"I want a baby sister!" Emma smiled
"Oh-" Meredith gasped and looked at her hands
Her heart was bleeding. They were planning on a third child but the cancer ruined it as her doctors also took out her ovaries and uterus
"Daddy and I are happy with our two girls" Meredith softly replied
"But I want a baby" Emma sighed
"Maybe uncle Mark and aunt Addie or aunt Amy" Meredith joked as she pushed her elbow into Mark's stomach
"Oh" He gasped
"Uncle Mark, if you and aunt Addie get a baby, can we play with the baby?" Ava asked with wide eyes
