Bird set free

Angel by the wings – Sia

Old soul, your wounds they show

I know you have never felt so alone

-

But hold on head up be strong

Oh hold on hold on until you hear them come

-

Take an angel by the wings

Beg her now for anything beg her now for one more day

-

You can, you can do anything

-

Look up, call to the sky

Oh look up and don't ask why

-

She didn't stop crying for the rest of the day. She was put into the isolation cell again for god knows how long. She didn't get to go back to the other widows, instead, she went through the graduation ceremony Natalia had gone through only a week before. She got her reproductive system removed and a tracker was installed into her leg.

Her body moved by itself the only thing she could do was watch. Watch as she killed thousands of people. Watch as she blew up whole cities.

At Night she laid awake, when she slept, she had nightmares, she was a shell of a person. A machine, following the master's orders like a puppet hanging from strings. Following every move the hand of the puppet master make. Kill them! It ordered and so she did. Blow up that building! And so, she did.

It went on and on, she wanted to cry, to scream, to feel. Yet here she was trapped in the cell that was her own body. Her mind went to the winter soldier, now knowing how he had felt.

Her mind also went to Natalia, who got her peace now. The polaroid picture from years ago was never far, always at her side. She wondered how Yelena was doing, was she under this awful control as well? What did she look like? Was she even still alive? Anya didn't want to think about that last question.

She didn't want to think about the smiling girl in the picture is in the same state as the blue-haired one. Green left all by herself.

In your arms

I know you're gone I know you're gone

But I don't feel what I know

I know you're gone I know you're gone

But my mind ain't in control

'cause it's my heart that's been missing you

And it's the heart I need to listen too

And it's been singing songs for tender dreams

But when you sang to help us sleep

And one day I will sing those songs sing 'em 'til they sleep

Just like you sang to me

-

From the day that I met you

I stopped feeling afraid

In your arms I feel safe

-

I miss you so, I miss you so

And I'll miss you 'til I'm old

I miss you so I miss you so
