-Nathalie's pov-

I've been awake for quite a while. The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was Gabriel, who was sleeping alongside me. I'm not complaining. I just can not help but smile when I see how peaceful he appears to be when asleep. As well, I've been thinking about how phrases like,"I only came back to bring my daughter home," turned into "I love you, Gabriel." To be completely honest, this was what I've been dreading. If Gabriella discovering that Gabriel and I used to be super villains in this city is my greatest fear, this was certainly my second---becoming too weak to keep my feelings all in, concealed, and ultimately confessing my true feelings to Gabriel.

I love him, and that's the truth. There is no doubt about that. I've always loved him; my feelings for him have never faded, and when I returned, I found myself falling deeper in love with him. The only problem was, I didn't want to admit it because, after all these years, I've convinced myself that I no longer loved Gabriel Agreste. I tell myself he doesn't mean a thing. That's what I've been telling myself, but my heart knows it's a lie....

We are still in the same position we fell asleep in, difference is we are much closer to one another now than before. My arms are encircling his waist, and his are encircling mine. I pressed my head against his chest, and moved my palm in his cheek caressing them with my thumb. I closed my eyes as I felt his smooth cheeks. I can imagine myself waking up next to him every morning and becoming use to it quickly.

As I start to imagine how our lives would have differed if I told him I was pregnant, I felt him stroking my back as he placed kisses on my head. I turn my head to face him, and as soon as I did, I was greeted by those beautiful eyes of his, and the sweet smile on his face.

"Good morning, my dearest Nathalie," Gabriel tells me, smilingly.

I smile at him, "Good morning, my love," I say, beginning to caress his cheeks with my thumb again, "I'm sorry I woke you up."

Gabriel placed his hand on top of mine that was on his cheek, "It's okay... What a beautiful sight you are," he says, making me blush and look away from him.

"I love you," He tells me.

"I love you too, Gabriel"

A few seconds later, I face him again and for a moment we remained silent as we stared at each other. I saw his gaze lower from looking at me in my eyes, to switching his gaze looking at my lips.

He looked up at me, "Can I please have a kiss?" he asks.

I buried my face in his chest, "no," I answered.
"We haven't.... brushed our teethes," I say hesitantly, and looked at him again.

"That's fine," he responds, smiling at me again. I shook my head, "Just a peck?" he continues, "Please?"

I sighed, "Fine, just a peck Gabriel." He smirked before grabbing my face and pecking my lips. He then looked at me before he pecked my lips multiple times. Once he was done, he peppered kisses down my neck, surprising me.

"Gabriel!" I shrieked, he was already on top of me.

"What's the matter?" he asks as he continued to drop kisses on my neck.

"Nothing!" I say laughing and he looks at me. I saw the shower door, and turned to the wall clock in his room, "You should probably get ready..." I had an idea.

Gabriel hugged me, "Just a few more minutes..."

I wrapped my arms behind him, "Gabriel go"
