In the dimly lit room, Gabriel was the first to open his eyes. The draperies obscured all of the natural sunlight, but the light from the battery-powered candles gave the space a yellow-orange glow. He was exhausted, but it was all worth it because the woman he loved and would do everything for was peacefully resting her head on his chest while she slept, and his arm was wrapped around her bare body.

Gabriel gazed down at Nathalie Agreste, who was now officially his wife. He lifted his hand from the sheets to caress her cheeks, but he noticed the handcuffs were still wrapped around both of their wrists. Gabriel grinned and raised his head from his pillow to kiss the top of her head.

He let his head fall back on top of the pillow, shutting his eyes, just to open them a second later when he had an idea. Fortunately, they were laying closely on the edge of the bed, so Gabriel easily reached for the key on the nightstand. He quickly released both of their wrists, dialed a number, and seized the telephone in his hands.

-"Hello! Thank you for calling Sylvine's, how can we help?"-

-"Hi, Sylvine, I want to place an order"-

-"Oh! Mr. Agreste! Of course! Would you like to get the usual? Bouquet of red roses?"-

-"No. I'd like to switch it up a bit... Though I'm not quite sure what kind of flowers to get my wife. She adores red roses...Will you help?"-

- "Yes, I'll help! .. What if we kept the red roses but did not arrange them in a bouquet? Put the roses in a heart-shaped box? Could that possibly work?"-

-"Sounds good! I'll get that! I think my wife would absolutely love it"-

-"Great choice! What size would you like to get, Mr. Agreste?"-

-"Thank you! And I'd like to get medium one. Were flying to the Maldives today and I don't want my wife to struggle holding a big box of roses"-

-"Missis Agreste is the luckiest woman!"-

-"Thank you, Sylvine.... But be honest. Do you think I over do it with the roses?"-

-"What do you mean overdo it? There is no such thing, Mr. Agreste! I am sure that your wife appreciates every roses you give to her!"-

-"Well yes. Nathalie does actually.... She has this vase at home filled with every roses I have ever given her. There is a piece of paper around the stem and it states why I gave it to her as well as the date!... She ran out of space a few times... so she started putting some on some of the books she keeps"-

-"See?! Missis Agreste loves when you give her roses! You would be surprised to find out how many husbands don't even bother to get their wives flowers..."-

-"I'm not like that...Could you please deliver the roses in Le Grand Paris Hotel? Third floor, room 380."-

-"Sure! I will get one of my employees to do that as soon as I'm done preparing it!"-

-

"Thank you," was the last thing Gabriel said before hanging up the phone. He placed the telephone down and put his hand on his wife's waist, hugging her and shutting his eyes, savoring the warmth of their bare bodies pressed against each other.
