"Bulla?" Steppa called out.

I walk over to Steppa and greets him.

Steppa: Where we going now?

Bulla: To my place. How ya move so like police out fi get you?

Meanwhile at Bulla's house

Steppa and bulla went outside on the balcony drinking, smoking and talking.

I took a puff out of my spliff and said, "tell me what's been going on in this place now Steppa"

Steppa: nuff things little bro. Man shoot up the little event.

Bulla: Blacka alone get hurt?

Steppa: Yes.

Bulla: So nobody don't know how it happened and why it happened?

Steppa: Not yet but I'm working on it.

Bulla: Wait no more. I'll deal with it but what I want you to do is get Blacka to another hospital.

Steppa: As you say boss. How's grandma?

Bulla: She's good. She give talking though

Bulla and Steppa laughed, haha

Steppa looked down on his watch and it's "1:34am"
Steppa said, "time a get late little bro so I'm going to hit the road now"

Bulla: You sure you want to do that?

Steppa: Man a born survivor eno. Me ago good yzt.

Bulla: Bay things you keep up with. Safe trod home.

Later that morning
Corey's Pov

BRRIING BRIING! (Alarm going off)

Oh shit, I should have turned that damn thing off. I can only imagine how much times it went off when I wasn't here.

BRRING BRRING! (Alarm)

I got up out of bed turned the Alarm off then said to myself, "It's literally just 9:00am"

Either way I have a long day ahead of me so let me just get myself ready for this toxic world.

Ashanti's Pov

"Why you always running from the pot?" Aaliyah laughed and asked .

I replied, "Girl, I never told you I was a chef"

We both laughed.

Aaliyah: Fix the phone good because I'm not seeing you.

Ashanti: There is nothing to see mamacita.

I took the last piece of plantain out of the frying pot and place it in my dish. I walked over to the dinning table to place my dish down and set up my phone in order for Aaliyah to see me.

Ashanti: Are you seeing me?

Aaliyah: Yes. You ready to tell me what you made?

I showed her my breakfast and said "I'm having fried egg, plantains, frankfurters and bread."

Aaliyah: The plantains look burn though

Ashanti: Girl!! (Laughing)

Aaliyah: Fun and joke aside. Have you heard from Corey?

Ashanti: No, I haven't. I went to his place twice but the gate man did not opened the gate nor even answered.

Aaliyah: Did you tried calling?

Ashanti: Indeed I did.

Aaliyah: Maybe he's taking a break.

Ashanti: I guess but there's no break when I'm carrying his child.

Aaliyah: Talk truth. Him need fi know that.

We both laughed and talk about other stuffs that's going with us.

Meanwhile back at Corey's house

I went out on the balcony to reminisce how I really wanted to finish college as I took the last puff of my spliff.

Hi then went back inside and open my drawer that is in my bedroom. I took out my phone I left here to check what I'm missing out on.

3 missed calls from Blacka
5 unknown numbers

Messages from Ashanti
"I've been calling you. I have something to tell you"

"I came by earlier but no one answered the gate"

"Hey big head. How's your day going?"
"I'm not the type of person to double text but I hope you're okay"
"I'm literally drunk texting you right now Corey"

"Message Deleted"
"I saw something on the news so I'm just texting you to ensure you are okay. Can you send at least a emoji? I hope you're okay"

Reading Kianna messages really have me feeling some type of way. I should have at least told her I'm going to be out of the country for a while.

"Should I even replied to her messages?" Asking myself

And what the fuck does Ashanti had to tell me that's so important she had to came to my spot.

I told her to quit that shit. I never should have let her knew where I'm now staying.

Females, they are so hard to deal with but I can't live without them.

Let me just ring Steppa and see what's going with him for today.

Ring Ring Ring ( Phone Ring)

Steppa answered phone, "Wah gwan?"

I replied, "Tell me nuh"

Steppa: Everybody is here waiting on you so a just you need to pull up now.

Bulla: Say less.

*Ring Ring Ring* (Corey's phone ring)

I looked at my phone and said to myself, "Why now?"
