Sunghoon's POV 🐧 ❄️

"I can't believe it..." Ryujin muttered as we walked towards the rooftop. It was sunset and we were shooting the last theme on the rooftop of the school. I had dressed up in a black t-shirt and a pair of joggers, similar to some of the sporting gear I wore when I was fourteen.

That was our concept, just a couple of teenage kids playing against the sun. No solo shots. But that's not my focus right now.

"Look it'll be fine, you can take this as an opportunity to talk to her, maybe make it seem that we're....apparently a couple...and then make progress," I attempted to calm her down.

"No offence Sunghoon but ummm..." she started. "I really don't want to be clingy with you or anything for the act.." she admitted honestly. I let out a sigh of relief, thank god. "Glad we're on the same page" I exhaled.

"So instead maybe just like simple gestures? Like putting food on a plate, fixing hair or something?" she asked. "That's fine with me."

Is Ryujin cool? Yes. Is she good-looking? Yes. Am I going to act like her kdrama oppa? No.

She's cool in the sense that she gives good tips on using the lavatory, is a really good dancer, a comforting person, and good-looking in the sense that everyone is attractive and looks are just subjective.

We finally reached the staircase leading to the rooftop. "All right it's fairly simple, just stay calm and uh be yourself," I spoke blankly in an attempt to comfort her. "Thanks bro."

Whoever designed this building, I hope you step on lego. Why the hell are there so many goddamn stairs?!?! Who thought this was practical??

"Screw this school," Ryujin mumbled as we trudged on what seemed to be the millionth flight. "Finally!" she exclaimed, crashing on the concrete floor with me kneeling beside her.

"Oh stop being such wimps, we had to carry the freaking equipment all the way up here," Jay voiced angrily, looking considerably distressed.

"You're here?" I asked, trying to stand up. "Does everyone forget I'm on the props team??" he muttered. "Ah shit my legs are killing me, imma go sit down," Ryujin spoke as I gave her thumbs up.

I turned to Jay who was frowning at me. "What?", "You guys are one weird couple.." I shifted nervously, poking him in an attempt to cover it up.

I don't think step number 3 was working out that much.

"Ooooo Sunghoon Oppa!" a voice mocked. This brat.."Now why is he here?" I asked with my hands on my hips. "I was invited," Niki responded simply. "Why Jay?" "Oh I didn't ask him, Jake did."

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and turned back to Niki. "Since when are you two close?" I questioned. "Ever since we started playing Genshin together, also he's really nice to me unlike you MF's" he responded simply, earning a kick from the two of us.

"Oh, there you are!" I spun around to see Jake. "Hey Sunghoon," he greeted me as I nodded back. "We're ready for you, just waiting for Beomgyu to finish up a phone call."

I followed him through the crowd to the camera set up. "I didn't know you and Niki were close," I spoke as I leaned over him.

"Ah yeah we play a lot of video games together at night," he answered, fixing some of the camera angles. "He's also really interested in photography so I figured I'd let him come here," I smiled amusedly. "Trying to pass on the gift huh?" I teased.
