"It's Saturday Loverboy," Kaz said. "You know what that means?"

"No?"

"Shi-"

I gave him a look, "Kaz."

"Trash talking time." Kaz reworded his sentence.

Theo nodded, "Okay."

Giving him an unimpressed look, Kaz went on, "I can't trash talk you like usual but that's okay."

"You trash talk me every Saturday?"

"Usually."

"But I'm safe this Saturday?"

"Not entirely."

I laughed, "We don't shit talk you."

"She's only saying that since she loves you."

Theo shrugged, "Good enough for me."

Kaz talked as we walked up the stairs to my apartment, "I've recently found I have been getting bullied."

"What?" I asked, confused.

"Turns out not as many people as I thought are actually interested in my plays and don't want to be trees in the background."

"They're just jealous of you," I told him with complete confidence. "Ignore them."

"Hmmm, is that what Theo did when he got made fun of in school?"

"I didn't get made fun of in school," Parker said, confused.

"That you know of."

"I think I would've realized it by now."

"That's what we all think until we realize," Kaz sipped his blueberry water from his water bottle looking at Theo.

"I don't-"

Kaz looked at Theo before using his hand to tell him he was an idiot. Instead of bickering with him about it, a smile grew on his face, "Did you call me an idiot in sign language?"

"Yes, I can say it out loud if you want."

"Since when do you know any sign language?"

"Cammy is making me learn with her," he shrugged. "She says your whole family knows how to."

"They do," Theo nodded, still smiling a little softer now.

"Are you close with your family?" Kaz randomly asked him.

"I am."

"How often do you talk to them?"

"Not as often as I'd like."
