"So I think we got off on the wrong foot before" Taylor said as he leaned on the locker next to Jade's.
"No I think we were quite clear" Jade said as she was moving some books around. Princess hissed at Taylor again.
"Yeah but when I said hang I meant as friends" Taylor said. He was trying way too hard to get on Jade's good side.
"No, no, I have enough friends" Jade said as she got the books for her next class. "You only have four" Taylor said.
Princess hopped on her shoulder. "Plus Princess which makes five" Jade said. "I get it you don't want to upset your boyfriend," Taylor said.
Jade looked confused. "I won't tell him" Taylor whispered. "My boyfriend?" Jade asked. "Isn't Jay your boyfriend" Taylor asked. Jade shut her locker and turned to him.
"Why would you think that?"Jade asked. "You guys were talking earlier and smiling" Taylor said. Jade rolled her eyes.
"So he isn't your boyfriend, great that means I can be your new boyfriend" Taylor said.
He tried putting his arm around Jade but Jay swooped in and did it first. "Can we help you?" He asked.
"You can't she can" Taylor said. "We'll considering we're in a relationship I can as well" Jay said. Jade tried not let the red overcome her cheeks.
"Whatever" Taylor said before walking away. Jade laughed before putting some hair behind her ear.
"So you're my boyfriend now?" She asked. "Gotta let the other idiots know" Jay said as he flexed. Jade laughed.
"Well I have to get to class, I'll see you later at Mal and Evie's?" Jade asked. "Yeah" Jay said. Jade smiled at him before walking to her class.

"She really came in here and ranted?" Jade asked with a laugh. "Yes" Mal groaned. Jade kept laughing.
"She thinks you guys are friends now or something?" Jade asked. Mal nodded with an annoyed look.
"I'm sorry for laughing but at this point she probably hasn't even asked her mother now that she has some friends" Jade said.
She was laughing so hard her stomach started to hurt. "Yo! Yo! Yo!" Jay said as he came in. Jade almost fell off the bed from laughing but Jay caught her.
Jade stood up. "That's hilarious" Jade said before sitting back on the bed. "What is?" Jay asked. "Shut up Jade" Mal said.
"I'll tell you later" Jade said. "Did your plan work with Jane are you going to see the wand?" Jay asked.
Jade started to snicker. "Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book. If I hadn't completely struck out?" Mal almost yelled.
"Someone's in a bad mood" Carlos said. "My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down" Mal said.
"We can do this... If we stick together." Jay said. "And we won't go back until we do. Because we're rotten.."
"To the core" The others said. "Oh, yeah. I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear, of course." Evie said.
The others looked at her dumbfounded. "What?" She asked. There was a knock at the door. "Hold that thought" Mal said before opening the door.
It showed Ben. "Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering If you had any questions or anything... that... you needed..." Ben said.
"Not that I know of" Mal said. Jade suddenly had a light bulb. "Actually yes!" She said before walking to the door.
"Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" Jade asked. "Yeah the whole school goes" Ben said. Jade smiled then Mal caught on.
"Wow. That is beyond exciting. Do you think that It's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" Mal asked as Jade sat back down next to Jay.
He gave her a fistbump. "I wish you could. Up front It's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend." Ben said.
"Your girlfriend?" Mal asked. "Yeah. I'm sorry." Ben said. "Okay thanks bye" Mal said cutting off what Ben was going to say.
"Spellbook" Mal said and Carlos threw it to her which she caught. Mal then looked at Jade. "Nope, no way!" Jade said.
"Come on Jade" Evie said. "No, no I'm not doing it" Jade said. "Doing what?" Jay asked. "Going to become Ben's girlfriend" Carlos informed him.
"What no" Jay said. "See? I'm not doing it" Jade said. "Ugh fine" Mal said. "Everything else I'm in but falling in love is just...not my thing" Jade said.

"Alright we still need one tear, and I never cry so.." Mal trailed off looking to the others for a plan. "Let's chop some onions" Carlos said as he grabbed an onion from a bowl. "We need a human tear of sadness idiot" Jade said as she took the onion from him.
"And this love potion gets the best so we have to follow it exactly." Mal said. "A tear's a tear" Jay said. "Not true Jay" Jade said.
"They both have antibodies and enzymes, but an emotional tear has more protein-based hormones than a reflex tear." Evie said.
"Listen to you" Mal teased. "Yeah I knew that" Jay lied. "Did not" Carlos said. "Yeah I did" Jay defended himself.
"There you are, Mal! I was looking for you. You know, all the girls want you to do their hair! Midnight snack, huh? What you guys making?" A girl said as she came in the kitchen.
"Nothing special just cookies" Mal said. The girl dipper her finger in the bowl and licked her finger discarding the protests from the VKs.
"What? I'm not gonna double dip" The girl said. "Feel anything?" Evie asked. "Like maybe it's missing something?" Jade saved.
"Hey there" Jay flirted. Jade rolled her eyes and scoffed before sitting next to Carlos with an annoyed expression.
"It could use some chips." Lonnie said ignoring Jay. "Chips?" Jay asked. Carlos gave Jade a reassuring smile to which she smiled back a little but still a little hurt.
"And those are?" Mal asked in confusion. Lonnie looked at her in disbelief. Before pouring the chips into the bowl.
"Chocolate chips. Just the most important food group. Wait, didn't your moms ever make you guys, like, chocolate chip cookies? Like, when you're feeling sad, and they're fresh from the oven, with a big old glass of milk, and she just makes you laugh and puts everything into perspective and... why are you all looking at me like that?" Lonnie asked.
"It's just...different where we're from" Jade spoke up. Carlos wrapped his arm around her as Jade laid her head on her shoulder. Evie noticed how Jay side eyed the two before rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, I know. I just, you know, I thought... Even villains love their kids." Lonnie said. The VKs all looked down. "Oh..how awful" Lonnie said before a tear slipped from her eye.
Mal was quick to retract and swiped the tear before flicking it in the bowl. "Yeah, well, big bummer, but we have to get these into the oven, so thank you so much for coming by. Really, really have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow. Evil dreams" Mal said ushering Lonnie out.
"Okay boys cookie sheet. Evie, Jade, oven" Mal said. The others nodded. "You okay?" Carlos asked Jade. "Am I ever?" She said as she got down from the counter.
Carlos looked at Evie who sighed.
