Parking my car in a spot closest to the door, I pulled my phone out to text the group chat. I was currently sitting in the parking garage of the apartment building.

Grabbing my keys, my phone, and my gun I opened my door. Stepping out of my car, I shut the door and looked around the garage. It was only me in the garage but I still locked my doors to be safe. Walking over to the area of the entrance to the elevator and steps to enter the building, I grabbed a cart that was for taking groceries and other things to our apartments.
Turning around with the cart, I walked over to my car trunk and popped it with the button on my key fob. I heard the trunk pop open, which made me pull it open the rest of the way. Looking at all the Walmart bags I shook my head and released a soft sigh.
