Chapter 7: Crush

I woke up from my sleep with my usual bed hair. I could hear Minju knocking on my door from my room. It's as if she is attempting to break down my door. I got up and dragged my feet towards the door. I opened it to see Minju standing with a smile on her face.

" You could have called me instead, you know. "

" But you would ignore it! "

" True. "

She was wearing the pair of jordans that she got from Yena. She took them off and placed it carefully on my shoe rack. She then proceeded to make coffee for the both of us. I looked at the clock on my wall. Minju arrived here way too early.

" Isn't it way too early to go to school? "

" I got too excited because it's not the both of us anymore! "

" Am I that boring? "

" No, no! "

She jumbled up her words when I teased her. I told her that it was a joke so that she wouldn't need to clear up the misunderstandings anymore. She let out a sigh of relief before looking at me.

" Is Ssamu still asleep? "

" Yeah, most likely. "

" Go and wake her up then. "

I reluctantly agreed as I did not want to invade Chaewon's privacy. I knocked on her door to check if she was awake. No response. I opened the door slowly to see Chaewon sleeping comfortably on her bed. I sneaked up to her and pinched her cheeks.

" O-ow... "

" Sorry, did I hurt you? "

" No, I was kidding. "

" Anyways, Minju is here. "

Chaewon looked at the time on her phone. She had the same reaction as me. It was definitely way too early. The both of us got out of her room to see Minju sipping on her cup of coffee. She gave us a smirk before sipping again. I can imagine the words she was going to say to me.

" Sooo, are you guys ready for class? "

" I guess I am. "

" That's the spirit, Ssamu! "

I'm still wondering where she got all this energy from. Is Minju rechargeable or something? I'll leave that question for another day. I gave my cup of coffee to Chaewon and proceeded to take a shower.

That felt nice. I feel more refreshed now. I walked over to my kitchen to see both Minju and Chaewon giggling over something. It's probably an inside joke that I won't understand. Surprisingly, Chaewon still has a warm cup of coffee after I took a shower. I kindly asked Chaewon afterwards.

" Can I have some? "

" Sure, it was your cup in the first place. "

" Haha, thank you. "

I took the cup that was already half empty and drank from it. Chaewon looked at me with a sly smirk on her face. Did she put something in this coffee?

" That was an indirect kiss, Y/N. "

" Wha- "

" Haha, i'm just teasing you. "

I almost spat out the coffee from that sudden attack. Chaewon was laughing from my reactions. She then proceeded to take a shower after waiting for me. Minju looked at me with a genuine smile on her face.
