Chapter 38: Off the record

I met up with Yujin and Minju at work this time around. Usually, I would meet Minju before meeting Yujin later on but today was a different case. Chaewon has been occupying my mind more than usual this morning. I took a deep breath before entering the bakery. I was immediately greeted by Yujin as she rushed towards me.

" Good morning oppa! "

" Morning... "

" You seem tired, what's wrong? "

" N-nothing much! "

Yujin tilted her head in confusion. I swiftly went into the changing room to change into my uniform for the day. I never knew I could stutter in front of Yujin like that. As soon as I got out of the room, Yujin was waiting for me as well as Minju. Yujin leaned by the counter while Minju was standing directly in front of me with a smug look on her face. Yujin got closer to the both of us with a confused look on her face.

" Something must've happened at home, huh. "

" Nope, I can't seem to recall! "

" It's okay, I'll ask Ssamu then~ "

" Wait no- "

I grabbed Minju's wrist as she was about to call Chaewon on the spot. I sighed before promising them that I'll explain everything to them during lunch. Minju pumped her fist in the air and went back to her station in the kitchen. My manager came out of his office to let me know that I should stay at the cashier for today. I wanted to be in the kitchen with Minju today though.

" Manager-nim, can I work in the kitchen instead? "

" Sorry Y/N, I noticed that most customers will come when you're at the cashier! "

" Eh... "

" Good luck, Y/N! "

My manager rushed back into his office as usual. I sighed before standing at the cashier, glancing around the store. As everyone was busy with their own workload, I stood there, waiting for customers to arrive and buy something here. This is going to take a while.

" Ahh, let's go for lunch, you two! "

" Where are we going, unnie? "

" Hmm, I don't know actually. "

Yujin and I made eye contact with each other before looking back at Minju. We have tried out everything here so we did not know what to try next. Eventually, Minju decided to just eat at our local convenience store. Yujin reluctantly agreed as we just buy our sandwiches and sat outside. Minju was getting impatient so she popped the question back at me again.

" So, what did you do, Y/N~? "

" I did it with Chaewon... "

" Did what exactly? "

" Sex. "

Minju cheered while Yujin gasps loudly. I would have have never expected those words to come out of my mouth. Both of them blushed while I explained everything that happened last night. Yujin even cupped her face to cool down from all that blushing. They are definitely going to tease me from now on. I felt embarrassed from sharing my experience with Chaewon last night.

" Unnie must've felt really good... "

" Yujin. "

" Sorry, oppa! "
