I have given up,
I see no more hope yet I see when it floats there,
Shining in all its glory.
Beautiful.
Yet not enough.
It's beautiful and tempting yet my fingers do not agree.
My mind lurks to where those wild expectations meet,
But I seem to not.
Oh, how will I ever be able to conquer the stars again?
Will I ever be able to prove myself worthy of it?
No one will know, that is until I take that step.
The step of inspiration,
But yet my fingers fail again.
