𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐉𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐲

When y/n had woken up she was cold but sweating, the mix of the two making her wipe her neck as if to get the feeling to go away. The nightmare she had began to leave her mind as she looked around at her surroundings

Will was the reason she was in the party and without him the group felt off, but she knew he was alive he just had to be. The girl was torn out of her thoughts by her alarm going off, she hadn't realized it was already time to get up and had thought she had an hour or so left to sleep. Much to her disappointment she as wrong. Y/n groaned and slowly trudged herself out of her bed.

"We just tell our parents we have AV Club after school." Mike told the group of friends as they stood around the table "That'll give us at least a few hours for Operation Mirkwood."

"What about me" y/n asked looking at them all

"Say your with Steve" Mike shrugged rolling his eyes

"You seriously think that the weirdo knows where Will is?" Lucas asks them, he had a point the thought of it was crazy

"Just trust me on this, okay?" Mike told him almost believing in this too much

"Did you guys get the supplies?" Y/n asked seeing as she had already shown them her makeshift first aid kit

"Yeah." Lucas nodded grabbing his bag and showing them each thing "Binoculars... from 'Nam. Army knife... also from 'Nam. Hammer, camouflage bandana... and the wrist rocket."

"You're gonna take out the "Demogorgon" with a slingshot?" Y/n looked over at Lucas using air quotes, her eyebrows raising in disbelief

"First of all, it's a wrist rocket." He corrected "And second of all, the Demogorgon's not real. It's made up. But if there is something out there, I'm gonna shoot it in the eye-" he pulled back the rubber it snapping loudly making the three back away from it "and blind it."

"Dustin, what did you get?" Mike looked over at him almost pleadingly

"Well, alrighty." He dumped his bag the contents of it spilling out onto the table "So, we've got..." He picked each of them up "Nutty Bars, Bazooka, Pez, Smarties,
Pringles, Nilla Wafers, apple, banana, and trail mix."

"Seriously?" Lucas asked tilting his head to the side

"We need energy for our travels." He defended "For stamina. And besides, why do we even need weapons anyway? We have her."

"She shut one door" y/n reminded

"With her mind!" Dustin continued "Are you kidding me? That's insane! Imagine all the other cool stuff she could do. Like I bet..." He walked over picking up the toy Millennium Falcon bringing it I front of the girl "that she could make this fly Hey."

She looked his way as they all turned to face the two

"Hey. Okay, concentrate. Okay?" He let go of the toy making it fall to the ground with a thud, he bent down picking it up "Okay, one more time. Okay. Use your powers, okay?"

It fell once again

"Idiot." Lucas shook his head

"She's not a dog!" Mike walked over picking up the toy ripping it from his grasp

"guys!" Mrs Wheeler yelled down the stars "Time for school! And thank y/n for the ride"

Everyone, but Mike and El, grabbed their stuff before trudging themselves up the stairs

After school they rode back to Mikes house in almost complete silence, the only noise that had been made was by Lucas and Dustin bickering about Lucas kicking dustins seat. Y/n stopped her car somewhere hidden and they grabbed their bikes and rode to the power lines and there stood El. She stared forward at nothing
