Y/n made her way inside the Byers home, she was in her Janine costume seeing as they were all going as Ghostbusters characters she looked over to see Jonathan taking photos of will
"Three, two, one..." He took the photo "Great. Hold up the proton blaster."
"Y/n's here" Joyce led the girl into the room
"Oh y/n" Jonathan looked up from his camera "come on next to will I wanna get some photos of you guys before you leave"
"Okay"
"All right, now turn to the light."

Lucas, Mike, and Dustin chained their bikes to the bike posts as they sang "Who you gonna call?"
"Ghostbusters!" Y/n and will cheered walking up behind the group
Seeing as y/n drove him here they came together
"Hey, Spengler!" Mike cheered
"Janine!" Dustin smiled at his sister
"Egon!" Lucas hugged will
"Venkman!" He cheered
"Whoa! Whoa!" Mike announced looking at lucas
"What?" Lucas watched as Mike reached for his costume
"Why are you Venkman?"
"Because I'm Venkman."
"No, I'm Venkman."
"Why can't there be two Venkmans?" Will asked not wanting another fight to begin from the two
"Because there's only one Venkman in real life." Mike argued "We planned this months ago. I'm Venkman, Y/n's Janine, Dustin's Stantz, you're Egon, and you're Winston."
"I specifically didn't agree to Winston." Lucas argued
"Yes, you did!" Mike yelled
"I don't think he did." Y/n shook her head at the moody Mike
"No one wants to be Winston, man." Lucas rolled his eyes
"What's wrong with Winston?"
"What's wrong with Winston?" Lucas repeated "He joined the team super late" he looked at y/n putting his hand out to her an apologetic look on his face "he's not funny, and he's not even a scientist!"
"Yeah, but he's still cool." Mike defended
"If he's cool, then you be Winston." Lucas shrugged
"I can't!" Mike looked around
"Why not?" Lucas continued
"B- Because-"
"B-B-Because you're not black?" Lucas mocked him
"I didn't say that!"
"You thought it."
"I didn't say that!"
"Mike!"
"Guys..." Dustin yelled over them Guys! Guys!" The looked his way "Why is no one else wearing costumes?"
Their smiles dropped
"When do people make these decisions?" Dustin asked obviously embarrassed
"Everyone dressed up last year." Will pointed out
"Assholes" y/n said from under her breath "it's okay, I bet I'll be the only high schooler dressed up least you have each other"
They all watched as y/n made her way towards her school
