𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨

Eddie Hopped out of the boat at the noise of a car door shutting he ran to the window immediately trying to depict who it was "Shit. Oh shit."

Y/n pushed open the door making Eddie jumped back and yell not realizing it was her, but once he did he smiled "Jesus…"

"Delivery service." Dustin announced as they all walked in and Steve waved at him

"So we got, uh, some good news and some bad news." Y/n told Eddie who shoved handfulls of honeycombs in his mouth "How do you prefer it?"

"Bad news first, always." He said as he then took a drink of the yahoo they brought

"All right. Bad news. We tapped into the Hawkins PD dispatch with our Cerebro, and they're definitely looking for you." Y/n sighed before brushing a strand of hair out of eddies face so he didn't end up getting it in his mouth along with the honeycombs  "Also, they're, uh..." she leaned back and looked away "...pretty convinced you killed Chrissy."

"Like, 100% kind of convinced kind of convinced" max added more confident than y/n had

He looked at y/n who tried to smile to cover up her anxiety but her knew her too well, He grabbed her hand with the one he was using to keep the cereal box up as he now held it in the crevice of his elbow

He smiled at her softly as he spoke again "And the good news?"

"Your name hasn't gone public yet." Robin nodded "But if we found out about you, it's a matter of time before others do. And once that gets out, everyone and their shallow-minded mother is gonna be gunning for you."

"Hunt the freak, right?" Eddie shook his head as he looked down

"Exactly."

"Shit." Eddie then looked up at the ceiling as he bit his lip

"So, before that happens, we find Vecna, kill him, and prove your innocence." Dustin explained with a slight smile

"That's all, Dustin? That's all?" Eddie  asked sarcastically as he looked back down and at the boy

"Yeah, no, that's pretty much it." Dustin nodded

"Listen, Eddie, I know everything Dustin is saying sounds totally delusional, but we've actually been through this before." Robin began,This made Eddie look to y/n for comfort the girl was nodding feeling bad not having told him this before. Robin noticed this and spoke again

"I mean, they have a… a few times, and… and I have once. Mine was more human-flesh-based, theirs was more smoke-related, but bottom line is, collectively, I really feel we got this."

"Yeah see we usually rely on this girl
who has super powers." Steve added crossing his arms over his chest "But, uh, those went bye-bye, so-"

"So we're technically in more of the..." Robin used her hands as she tries to come up with the next words

"Kinda…" Steve tried as well

"Brainstorming phase." Max finished for them

"Brainstorming." Steve pointed at her signaling that that's what he was thinking as well

"There- There's nothing to worry about." Y/n tried to sound convincing but her face dropped when loud sounds came from down the road, Sirens began to wail making them all look at the window then each other panicked

"Shit. Tarp." Y/n pointed at it as she looked at Eddie anxiously "Tarp, now, Tarp."

Eddie nodded and went under the tarp as the rest of them ran for the window and peered out of it, the sirens got closer meaning that the vehicles were getting closer and just the thought of that terrified y/n. Her hands we're in tight fists as her nails Impaled her palms, she waited for the cars to come right to them but the vehicles just zoomed past them in a hurry. Her fists unclenched as a sigh then left her mouth.
