𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲

"It was here." Max said as they shone their flashlights on the wall "Right here."

"A grandfather clock?" Y/n asked

"It was so real." She continued "And then, when I got closer, suddenly I just..."

"Max, come on." Y/n shook the girl who sat at the desk staring at nothing

"Max?" Steve and Dustin Joined in as the girl then got up and left, they shared looks before following the girl

Suddenly she gasped and she was out of the trance

"...I woke up."

"It was like she was in a trance or something." Y/n told Nancy and robin "Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy."

"That's not even the bad part." Max turned around

They headed to miss Kelley's office where max showed them the files "Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Miss Kelley for help. Uh, they both were having headaches, bad headaches that wouldn't go away. And then...Then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping. They'd wake up in a cold sweat. Then they started seeing things. Bad things.From their pasts. These visions, they just... They kept on getting worse and worse,
until eventually... Everything ended."

Y/n gullped warning looks but she looked back at max ignored them

"Vecna's curse." Robin looked up at max

"Chrissy's headache started a week ago. Fred's, six days ago. I've been having them for five days." Max explained making everyone's stomachs drop "I don't know how long I have. All I know is that, for Fred and Chrissy, they both died less than 24 hours after their first vision. And I just saw that goddamn clock, so...looks like I'm gonna die tomorrow."

A clang from somewhere outside the office made them all turn their heads towards the noise

"Stay here." Steve told them and began walking towards the door

He grabbed a lamp and ventured out into the Hall everyone following behind him. Another clang sounded as they continued down the hall, they stopped at the sound of running footsteps. Out jumped a figure making them all scream and jump away, including the other person

"It's me!"

"Lucas?" Nancy asked making out the figure

"It's me" he repeated

"Jesus, what's wrong with you Sinclair?!" Steve yelled at the boy

"I'm sorry." He panted

"I could've taken you out with this lamp!" Steve continued to yell

"Sorry, guys. Sorry." He continued panting "I was... I was biking for eight miles. Give me a second. Shit. We've got a code red"

"What?" Y/n asked

"Y/n." He walked to her "I've been with Jason, Patrick, and Andy, and they've gone totally off the rails. They're trying to capture Eddie, and they think you know where he is. You're in terrible danger."

"All right." Y/n nodded "Yeah, that definitely sucks, but we've got bigger problems than Jason now."

They looked back at max making Lucas look at her still breathing heavily from the running and biking

They we're in the Wheelers basement now reading the article on Victor creel, Steve laser as he read it "Okay, be honest. Uh... You guys understand any of this?"

"No." Lucas looked at the paper closer as if that would help him understand it

"Pretty straightforward." Dustin said at the same time
