Y/n watched as El messed with the Walkman in her hands, mike was sure he heard will but the girl didn't want to get her hopes up
"We keep losing the signal, but you heard it, right?" Mike looked at the others who sat around El
"Yeah, I heard a baby." Lucas looked at him
"What?"
"Mike, you obviously tapped into a baby monitor." Lucas continued
"It’s probably the Blackburns’ next door." Y/n offered
"Uh, did that sound like a baby to you?" Mike continued his argument "That was Will! "
"Mike..."
"Lucas, you don’t understand. He spoke last night." Mike yelled making dustin and y/n turn to look at each other "Words! He was singing that weird song he loves. Even El heard him!"
"Oh, well, if the weirdo heard him, then I guess-" Lucas tried
"Are you sure you’re on the right channel?" Dustin spoke up
"I don’t think it’s about that. I think, somehow, she’s channeling him." Mike spoke making y/n let out a long sigh
"Like... like Professor X." Dustin began to get more excited
"Yeah."
"Are you actually believing this" y/n asked looking at the group
"I don’t know, I mean..." Dustin sighed "Do you remember when Will fell off his bike and broke his finger? He sounded a lot like that."
"Did you guys not see what we saw?" Lucas asked looking at y/n "They pulled Will’s body out of the water. He’s dead!"
"Well, maybe it’s his ghost." Dustin offered "Maybe he’s haunting us."
"It’s not his ghost." Mike shook his head
"So how do you know that?" Lucas looked at him
"I just do!"
"Then what was in that water?" Y/n rose her voice
"I don’t know!" Mike did as well "All I know is Will is alive. Will is alive! He’s out there somewhere. All we have to do is find him."
The radio began to let out static noises again
"This isn’t gonna work." Mike took the radio from her "We need to get El to a stronger radio."
"Mr. Clarke’s Heathkit ham shack." Dustin told Mike with a smile
"Yeah." Mike agreed
"The Heathkit’s at your school." Y/n reminded
"There is no way we’re gonna get the weirdo in there without anyone noticing." Lucas nodded looking at the boys as if they were stupid "I mean... look at her."
EL looked out at the group as they looked at her

Y/n,Lucas, and Dustin searched through the wheelers garage trying to find some sort of disguise for eleven. They pulled out old Halloween costumes, old clothes and some other weird things. Y/n turned around and got the boys attention, when they turned they saw her standing with a clown wig and nose on. Dustin threw a plastic ball at her with a laugh before they went back to searching.
After a few minutes Lucas turned around a dress in hand y/n nodded saying it was good, then they looked to Dustin who had a wig on. It was terrible but it made the laugh, with that they went to Mike and El handing them to her. She shut the bathroom door to change as the four waited outside for her, at the sound of the door opening yhery turned to see El step out of Nancy's room
