"You're positive that was Dart?" Max asked as they began to walk back
"Yes. He had the same exact yellow pattern on his butt." Dustin argued
"He was tiny two days ago." Max continued
"Well, he's molted three times already."
"Malted?" Steve asked, his hand was right in y/n's it had been ever since they left
"Molted." Y/n corrected "Shed his skin to make room for growth like hornworms."
"When's he gonna molt again?"
"It's gotta be soon." Dustin nodded "When he does, he'll be fully grown, or close to it. And so will his friends."
Yeah, and he's gonna eat a
lot more than just cats.
"Wait, a cat?" Y/n asked stopping Dustin and letting go of Steve's hand making him look down at his empty hand "Dart ate a cat?"
"No, what? No." Dustin avoided eye contact
"What are you talking about? He ate Mews." Steve corrected
"Mews?" Y/n asked her heart dropping
"Mews? Who's Mews?" Max asked from beside Steve
"It's Dustin and y/n's cat." Steve answered
"Steve!" Dustin yelled at him
"I knew it! You kept him!" Lucas hit his shoulder
"No! No. No, I... No, I..." He was obviously lying "He missed me. He wanted to come home."
"Bullshit! He killed Mews" y/n yelled "we've had that cat since I was like 3"
"I didn't know he was a Demogorgon, Okay?" Dustin continued
"Oh, so now you admit it?" Lucas yelled again
"Guys, who cares? We have to go." Max yelled at them
"I care!" Y/n told her before walking on as they stayed in place
"You put the party in jeopardy!" Lucas looked at lucas "You broke the rule of law!"
"So did you!"
"What?"
"You told a stranger the truth!" Dustin argued shining the light in her face
"A stranger?" Max scoffed
"You wanted to tell her, too!"
"But I didn't, Lucas, okay" Dustin continued "I didn't tell her!"
"We both broke the rule of law, okay? So we're even. We're even."
They continued arguing as y/n froze hearing the noise the demogorgon had made "Guys?"
They continued arguing as Steve went closer to y/n hearing it to "Guys!"
He was louder so they stopped arguing and they walked towards the noise, steve grabbed y/n'shand and continued forward
"No, no, no. Hey, guys, why are you headed towards the sound?" Max yelled after them "Hello? Hello?"
She rolled her eyes and followed them as they looked over the edge of the cliff
"I don't see them." Dustin looked for the creatures
"It's the lab." Lucas announced
"They were going back home." Y/n shared a look with lucas

"Jonathan?" Nancy got his attention, they stood at the gates of the lab
"What?"
"I think there's something in the woods." She announced
