Third person's POV

To strengthen his power even more, King Myoui makes a political marriage arrangement between his youngest daughter Princess Mina and the Prince of Euroa, Prince Suho. He chose Mina to be in this marriage and not his older daughter Momo because Princess Momo is the next in line to his throne. Because Princess Momo is very similar to him in many ways, that's why King Myoui has already decided to make her the Queen of Macedon in the future,

He forced Mina to agree to this marriage, doesn't matter how much she againsts it. But because of the immense amount of love he has for his daughter, he wants to keep her next to him for as long as possible, so he made Euroa agrees that the wedding won't happen until the young Princess reaches her adulthood of 22 years old,

That's the next step of his greedy dream of controlling all four Kingdoms. Once Mina got married into the Euroa royal family, whatever he demands, Euroa will have to obey, and with that he solidify the status of his Kingdom as the great Macedon.

Back to the South, eventhough Chaeyoung is now basically not a Princess anymore, but the people of Castlemaine still treat her with utmost respect. She doesn't have a title, but in her people's hearts, she is forever their royal Princess Son Chaeyoung,

Chaeyoung might have lost everything as how other Kingdoms see it, but in reality, she still has everything.

King Myoui made sure the young Princess has no chance to go to school or learn any sword skills by placing his puppets in Castlemaine as his watchful eyes. When Chaeyoung was kicked out of the palace, the State Councillor takes her in to reside in his residence, and the State Councillor's father happens to be the retired royal teacher, who taught King Son Tae Sun when he was young. And therefore, without anyone knowing, the young Princess is taught by the very best teacher ever exists,

That is not all, the Minister of war also secretly teaches Chaeyoung his amazing war knowledge, as well as life wisdom. On top of that, the Chief of royal guards is also teaching the young Princess every bit of his sword skills as well as archery skills.

Living in the State Councillor's house, Chaeyoung is not alone, she has her three friends who have been growing up together with her.

Chou Tzuyu, daughter of the State Councillor, who is famous for her exceptional beauty and kind personality at such young age. She welcomes Chaeyoung into her household with opened arms and is taking care of the young Princess a lot more than she needs to. Together with Kim Dahyun, daughter of the Chief of royal guards and Yoo JeongYeon, daughter of the war Minister, they made a group of four friends who have been through thick and thin, taking good care of each other and encouraging one another whenever needed. Their friendship bond is unbreakable.

Growing up together with Chaeyoung, there is also Im Nayeon, she's the Princess's personal maid, 5 years older than Chaeyoung, and the two are so close that Chaeyoung thinks of Nayeon as her own older sister.

Princess Chaeyoung considers herself lucky to have all these good, honest and caring people next to her, and therefore she values them above all else.

It's now one year after the King and Queen were taken away. Princess Chaeyoung has settled quite comfortably in the State Councillor's house. She studies hard, learning anything she can learn, be a good and outstanding individual and wait for the day she can have her parents back, so they can be proud of her.

It's one afternoon, Chaeyoung is studying in her room, when suddenly she can hear a small knocking sound on her windows. She stands up from her seat and opens the windows to see Tzuyu is sneaking around, trying hard not to be seen by the house servants,

'Tzuyu? What are you doing here outside my windows?' Chaeyoung asks,

'Chaeyoung, let's sneak out. Dahyun and JeongYeon are waiting for us at the usual spot.' Tzuyu answers in a wishper,
