Third person's POV

'Escape this place?' Mina is deep in thoughts. A royalty like her of course doesn't want to be a slave forever, but escaping can be very dangerous. They will have to be on the run forever, and if they happen to get caught, the Queen won't be so forgiving, especially to a Myoui like her. For some reasons, the Queen has been letting her off the hook everytime, but a slave who escapes is bound for death sentence, it's an unchangeable rule.

'Yes, Your Highness. She is waiting for our decision. If we agree, she will start preparing.' JiHyo continues to tell Mina,

Mina stays quiet, strange enough, the thought of leaving this palace makes her feels uneasy, like she will lose someone very important, like the sadness of never having to see that person again. But then the royalty blood is still proudly flowing in her veins, which doesn't allow her to stay a slave forever. If there's a chance to escape, she should take it, 'JiHyo ah, does SeJeong know that it would be very dangerous? That if we get caught, we all might have to face death?' She asks,

JiHyo nods her head, 'That was exactly what SeJeong told me earlier, so she's very well aware of it, Your Highness.'

Mina then takes a deep breath to brave herself before making the decision, 'Then let's escape this place. Let's be free again.'

With that, JiHyo and SeJeong starts the plan, they secretly talk to each other while working next to one another everyday. One week later, the plan is completed, and tonight will be the night that they make their great escape,

After work, JiHyo is now explaining the plan for Mina in their shared room, 'SeJeong's father had made 3 fake identity cards for us, so we will be palace maids who are sent outside the palace to run errands for a Concubine. And we are going tonight, so we will wait for everyone to fall asleep, then sneak out passed the two guards who will be knocked out because I gave them some drugged alcohol, then we will meet SeJeong right outside slave quarter.'

Mina nods her head, agreeing with the plan.

When the time came, everything went as they planned, Mina and JiHyo successfully got out of slave quarter and meet with SeJeong,

'Your Highness!' SeJeong greets Mina while bowing her head,

'Thank you for helping us, SeJeong.' Mina appreciates the girl's bravery,

'Your Highness, I will repay you, even if I have to lose my life.' SeJeong says to Mina, determined to help her saviour to get out of this slave life,

'Alright, let's change to palace maids's clothes. We don't have much time.' JiHyo urges,

After changing, the three then carefully make their way to the palace's main entrance. Approaching closer to the guards, they are starting to feel nervous, but try their best to act as normal as possible,

'Show me your identity cards!' The guards tell them,

Three of them quickly show their cards. The guards check carefully while scanning their faces. This high tension has the three girl break out in cold sweats,

'Which Concubine are you working for?' A guard asks,

'Concubine Lee from East palace.' SeJeong quickly answers,

'Why is she sending you out?' He continues to ask,

'She...' SeJeong is about to answer but the guard cuts her off,

'Not you, I want you to answer my question.' He says while pointing at JiHyo,

JiHyo nervously gulps, but quickly calms herself down, 'Concubine Lee sends us out to pick up some food from her mother's place. She has missed her mother's home cook food.' She replies,
