Third person's POV

Doesn't matter how much of a determination Mina had, but now when she is about to face the harsh reality, she wants to back out. Just the thought that she has to face almost everyone across all 4 Kingdoms as a slave, she is feeling herself getting weak, so weak that she would do anything to avoid it.

Mina's hands are shaking, has a proud Princess like her ever have to beg anyone, has a royalty like her ever have to call anyone Master, but here she is, finding herself lowered her head and beg, because that is how much she wants to get out of this, 'Ma... Master, p... please!' She shakily pleads in her tiny voice,

The Queen halts her step, her heart is soften as of that instant. She wants to walk over and hugs Mina so badly, but in front of everybody in this room, she needs to be the vengeful Queen who shows no mercy for her enemy. She clenches her jaw to hold in her emotions, 'Mina, don't make me late!' She coldly says and continues to walk,

Mina has to bite her lips to hold in her tears after her emotional plead was completely ignored, she has no choice but to stand up and follow the Queen.

Walking into the throne hall where the ceremony is taken place, the Queen walks straight to her throne and sits down on it, while Mina is trying hard to avoid making eye contact with anyone. She follows the Queen and kneels down right next to her feet just like how she was told,

And with that, the ceremony starts. All royalties and powerful people from all 4 Kingdoms are here to congratulate the new Queen. One by one, they step in front of the Queen and bow their heads while offering gifts and best wishes,

Mina has her head down at first, she could sense all the stares, all the chatty wishpers people made about her. And then she decided to face them, Mina thinks that she didn't do anything wrong to be scared of, and that's when she slowly finds her courage and raises her head, she stares right back at those people in the eyes. The same faces, the same people who used to kneel in front of her King father and used to look up at her with so much admiration and respect, but now they are all looking down at her, they give her pitiful looks because she is a mere slave who has lost everything,

But she also gets many flirtatious winks, she can see all the lust some of those people have in their eyes when they look at her, including the King of Benalla, King Siwon. She knows he wanted to marry her, but her King father refused him and accepted Prince Suho instead, and that's why the look in his eyes right now scares her, it's like he would take her body right away if Queen Chaeyoung is not here, right next to her,

And then Prince Suho steps up and stands in front of the Queen, Mina quickly avoids making eye contact with him, she looks away but she still can sense the longing gaze he makes towards her,

On the other hand, Chaeyoung glances at Mina the moment Prince Suho steps in front of her, she knew about their marriage agreement, and she happened to take the bride away just one month before their wedding day. The Queen in fact doesn't feel bad about it because she heard rumours about how Mina was against her own marriage arrangement. But right now, seeing the tense atmosphere which Prince Suho and Mina have between each other, Chaeyoung is not happy, and that's why she plans to put a real ending to this arranged marriage.

After everyone was done offering gifts and best wishes to the Queen, they are now all settled down on their seats. Foods and drinks are starting to be brought out to all the tables around the big banquet room,

Slaves have to serve all the guests, from pouring drinks to massaging them, entertain them however they want, even being human toys for them to play with. Those are common duties of slaves, and Mina had seen it many times at her King father's many parties, that's why she was terrified when Chaeyoung made her come to this party as a slave. But right now, eventhough she has to kneel the whole time, but she feels quite relieved that the Queen doesn't make her serves anyone, not even the Queen herself.
