Chapter 34

Third person's POV

But Sana just laughs out loud, 'Her Majesty won't be angry at me if I tell her I got rid of a threat from Macedon. Mina, you are a Myoui, your whole family is Her Majesty's enemy. Don't ever forget that fact.' She uses The Myoui and The Son's enemy status to break the trust and the respect Mina has for Chaeyoung,

Then she glares at Mina with so much anger in her eyes, 'Now tell me, what is your purpose of trying to stay close to Her Majesty? Are you waiting for an opportunity to assassinate Her Majesty for revenge?'

Mina's eyes widen in shock hearing that, all those made up words have never existed in her mind, 'My only purpose is to take good care of Her Majesty as her personal maid.' She tries her best to stay calm and argue to that accusation,

'Liar!' Sana yells, 'Mina, you either admit it the easy way, or I will make you admit it the hard way.' The Consort threatens once more,

Mina breathes shakily, knowing her life right now is in serious danger. She stares at Sana with lots of anger in her eyes, as the proud royal blood is still flowing in her veins, and therefore,  losing is not an option. No matter what horrible things Sana would make her goes through, she won't ever admit to the wrongful accusation. Her mind right now is filled with the only hope, 'Your Majesty, where are you? Please! Please come and save me!' She is furiously praying.

JiHyo has now reached Head Court Lady Nayeon's office, she hurriedly runs in, 'Head Court Lady, please help! Mina was taken to Consort Sana's palace a while ago.' She tells Nayeon while breathing heavily because of all the running,

Nayeon stands up instantly, 'Oh no, this is not good.' She worriedly says,

'Head Court Lady, Her Majesty is not here, but how about Consort Tzuyu, can we ask her for help?' JiHyo thought of an alternative way,

But Nayeon shakes her head, 'As if Consort Sana has been planning for this for a long while, she got the timing perfectly, Consort Tzuyu is also not here, she had gone to visit her family home outside the palace.'

'No no no, please nothing happens to Her Highness, please!' JiHyo is praying through her tears, 'But Head Court Lady, would Consort Sana risk getting in trouble with Her Majesty just to get rid of Mina?'

Nayeon sighs deeply, 'The Minatozaki Tribe has an alliance with our Kingdom, Her Majesty is very responsible with national relations, and therefore she won't do anything that might break that alliance. Consort Sana is very well aware of that fact, that's why she is confident. The only thing Consort Sana is risking, is Her Majesty's affection towards her.'

JiHyo cries even more knowing how powerful Consort Sana can be, which means it would be even harder to rescue Mina out of her hands,

'We need to get someone to deliver the news to Her Majesty. Hopefully she isn't too far yet, and that she can come back in time.' Head Court Lady hurriedly says,

'Officer Hyung Sik had left to try to catch up with Her Majesty a while ago.' JiHyo tells her,

Nayeon nods her head, 'That's good. Let's hope Her Majesty will come back in time.' She then continues, 'Right now, you and me will go to Consort Sana's palace. They won't let us in, but at least we will slow down any bad things they want to do to Mina, to stall some time.'

Meanwhile, ever since she left the palace this morning, Chaeyoung has been having this uneasy feelings inside of her. Her heart keeps beating abnormally fast for no apparent reason, she also feels sick in her stomach, like it is filled with worries. She and her hunting crew are now half way to Mount Namsan, but the Queen's intuition just keeps telling her to turn back around,
