Third person's POV

Nayeon also stands up, 'My Queen, if you're worried this much, why don't you just pay her a visit? I will come with you.' Nayeon proposes the idea,

'Then let's go!' Chaeyoung answers almost immediately and proceeds to walk out right away as if she has wanted to do this for so long. Nayeon has to run to be able to catch up to her,

Walking out of her own private palace, some maids including Yeri the personal maid, follow right behind the Queen and Head Court Lady, heading straight to slave quarter.

The Queen's arrival at slave quarter is a rare sight for every single living person in this palace, as royalties never want to step foot inside this considered lowly place. But Chaeyoung ignored them all, she has only one person in mind and with that she walks straight to Mina's room,

Stepping inside the room, she saw JiHyo is trying to persuade a still very stubborn Princess to drink her medicine while the royal physician is standing not too far from them, looking like he wants to help, but doesn't know what to do,

JiHyo is the only one who is allowed to stay with Mina, while SeJeong was put into a prison cell, awaiting the Queen's decision on her treason crime.

Chaeyoung steps closer, JiHyo and the royal physician immediately kneel down to greet her as soon as they saw her coming,

Meanwhile, Mina is in great shock seeing the Queen here in her room. She is still on her bed, lying flat on her stomach because her behinds are in so much pain, it would be too painful to have her behinds facing down. She glances at the Queen with her still red and swollen eyes from lots and lots of crying, then she quickly hides her face into her pillow, doesn't want to face Chaeyoung at the moment,

Chaeyoung stands right next to Mina's bed, she worriedly scans Mina's fragile body which is still shaking once in a while because of the pain,

'How is she? Did you check on her?' She asks the royal physician,

'Your Majesty, she... uhm... she wouldn't let me check on the injured area. But I was able to feel the pulse on her wrist, her pulse is indeed all over places, and she is having a high fever.' The royal physician reports Mina's condition to the Queen,

'A high fever? Why would she have a fever after 4 strokes of flogging?' Chaeyoung asks, a bit confused at the information,

'Your Majesty, because the pain was too much for her body to take, so her body naturally raised a defence mechanism. She used all the energy in her body to deal with the pain, which made her blood raised in heat, and with that it caused her fever to raise.' He explains to the Queen in details,

Chaeyoung's tears almost fall hearing the confirmation that the pain she made Mina went through, was indeed to much for her fragile body to take. She looks at Mina who is still hiding her face with a pair of eyes full of worries and regrets,

'Your Majesty, I had JiHyo here to prepare the medicine I prescribed for her. After drinking it, her fever will get better, but... but she refuses to have it.' The royal physician continues to tell the Queen,

Chaeyoung sighs deeply, 'Alright, I get it, you can leave now.' She tells the royal physician and with that he bows his head and leaves the room,

Chaeyoung proceeds to sit down on Mina's bed, right next to her pillow, 'Mina, why don't you have your medicine? Huhm?'

Mina jolts hearing her name being called right next to her, she peeks her eyes up from the pillow, nervously looking at the Queen. Chaeyoung has to tilt her body forward and bends her back a little to look at Mina in the eyes. She reaches her hand over to feel the temperature on Mina's forehead, and the girl is indeed burning,
