Chapter 23

Continued from previous part : Anirudh heared the conversation  of them binoy and Soudamini.

Binoy : dekho...Anirudh...

Anirudh : kiya dekhu haan? ke ek pita apne standard, paisa or ego ke liye apne bete ka istemal kiya? usse itna dard diya? accha mujhe chodhiye apke bhai jinhone puri zindegi laga di maan samman kamane mein woh sabkuch apne daaon pe laga diya? ishke sath milke unka saar samajh ke samne jhuka diya?

Binoy kept quite. Anirudh continued.

Anirudh : or soudamini tumne kiyu kiya yeh sab mere sath? tum to piyar karti thi na mujhse? kaisa piyaar tha yeh jiske liye tum itne nichi gi gayi! mujhe kaka or bondita ko kabhi na bhulnewala zakham de diya. kaisa silah diya tumne humari dosti ka? humare piyar ka?  mujhe ghussa araha hain yeh soch kar ke maine kabhi tumse piyaar kiya!

Soudamini : agar kar bhi liya to kiya galat kiya maine?  kiya mujhe haq nehi tha apna piyaar apni jagah wapas paane ka? jo ushne chin liya tha? kiyu kiya yeh sab? taki tumse kabhi dur na hu anirudh.

Soudamini said helding his face. Anirudh  threw her hand down and left from there in anger.  He went to study and closed the door.

Binoy : jaane do waise bhi aab bohat der hochuki hain or fikar maat karo woh tumhe nehi chodega kabhi bhi kiyuki tum vidhi ki maa ho. abhi uske pash maat jaao. 

Here Anirudh was crying folding his knees against his chest. Their words were barging in his ears. He didn’t knew what to do? was there anything left to do? How will he face bondita? he always misunderstood her for 6 years. She has to face all the pain because of his baba and soudamini. He blamed Himself for whatever bondita had to bear because of him. He was the reason for her sufferings. How could he forgive himself? He cried helding his head.

It turned night Anirudh didn’t came out from study. Mini barged at door.

Soudamini : Darwaja kholo Anirudh! khana khalo.

Anirudh opened the door loudly and  shout at her.

Anirudh : sharam nehi ati tumhe? itna sabkuch hone ke badh bhi tum kaise itna normally baat kar rahi ho? mujhe ghin arahi hain tumhari sakal dekhne mein bhi. ghin arahi hain mujhe khudhpe! chali kiyu nehi jaati ish ghar se?

Vidhi : aap aisa kiyu keh rahe ho baba?

Vidhi said from behind. Soudamini smirked. She started crying.

Anirudh : vidhi...

Vidhi : aap maa ko ghar se nikal rahe ho kiyu baba? aise daant kiyu rahe ho unhe? mujhe door maat karo maa se baba...

Anirudh bent down infront her and wipped her tears. He knew doesn’t matter soudamini loves vidhi or not but she loves her and he loves vidhi more than anything.

Anirudh : nehi nikal raha hu mein bas ghussa tha na ishliye daant raha tha. Sorry.

Vidhi : nehi nikaloge na maa ko ghar se? main apdono ke bina nehi reh sakti.

Anirudh : bilkul nehi beta..

Anirudh hugged her hiding his crying. Vidhi also hugged him. Anirudh felt better hugging her.

Soudamini in mind : kuch bhi hojayein par vidhi hain to humari beti hi na? woh humein kabhi alag hone degi kiya?

She smiled evilly. After that years passed but Anirudh never forgave soudamini. he doesn’t even look at her or talk to her. He used to stay sick. The truth affected him badly. He started hating soudamini and also to Himself. He become mentally ill day by day because of guiltyness and regret. His health condition getting worse day by day. But he never took help from soudamini. In those passing years seeing anirudh in that state Soudamini also regret for her deeds. She wanted to lead a happy life with him which she dreamt for years but never wanted to got hated by him. She realised she can't lead a happylife destroying someone's else life. She realised she got Anirudh forever  but she lost old Anirudh forever. The one used to love her now feel disgusting seeing her face. She tried to apologise but Anirudh didn’t listen her even Once. Anirudh even stopped talking less. He used to stay alone. Only he talked with vidhi. he even stopped talking less with kaka also.
