"Stark?" You furrowed your brows in query when the ladies led you to some hallways up until you reached a certain room.
"Mhm." Natasha nodded in response and it still feels weird to call them by 'their names' but you just decided to go along with it because you don't want them getting upset when you don't even know who they really are.
I mean, even though half part of you is still thinking that this is just Scarlett's revenge on you, you still wanted to be a professional person to them and never make them feel annoyed about you, or at least for now, because you do have plans on straddling them and telling in their faces that their prank wasn't worth with all their efforts by the time everything is already revealed.
Anyways, all of you finally reached a particular metal silver door, Wanda went to knock gently but Yelena shoved her away without any care in the world before yelling, "Goatee, we have a... we have a..."
And that's where you saw two men in the room, both facing their backs towards you but you knew those backs, they were too familiar and memorable for you to forget and you hoped that these people are the ones who could finally give up all this messy and confusing things that are happening in your life.
"Situation." Wanda finished the sentence when Yelena can't seem to know the word that can fit with her phrase.
The men then turned around with raised brows when they heard what Wanda stated which revealed Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo, your best friends.
"Downey, Ruffalo!" You exclaimed, lunging at the both of them.
"Um, who is Downey?" Robert asked with scrunched face, "Because if you called me that, then I'm sorry to tell you, I don't fantasize about being a fabric conditioner."
"Robert, come on. Please?" You pouted, hoping to make him say something that will reveal all this crap that's going on because you knew this man, he couldn't keep secrets for long but then, he creased his brows in confusion, "You're not - What's your name?"
"Wow." He sarcastically scoffed, "You really, actually, certainly, forgot my name? My name?"
"Robert Downey Junior?"
"I'm the great Tony Stark, dear darling girl, but whoever this Robert is, I hope he's a good-looking man like me because I would surely be disappointed if not."
"But you are-"
"That's the situation." Natasha cut you off, "She keeps addressing us other people's names,"
"Oh, interesting," Tony smirked. "What did she call you?"
This man, you always know that he has a death wish and if he isn't really Robert then at least they have a similar thing that they could have bonded off and that is to annoy Scarlett or Natasha.
"Are you gonna help us or what?" Natasha gritted out impatiently, her jaw tightening which made it more visible and you felt like you were cheating with your fiancé because the action just made you gulp hard.
Damn, that was hot.
"I, um,-" He cleared his throat when his voice came out scratchy from Natasha's hard scowl. "Yeah, sure."
"Good, chop-chop."
Tony nodded then turned towards the other man and introduced him, "This is Doctor Bruce Banner, he will be the one who will help you in the meantime because, unfortunately, I'm doing some experi-"
"Anthony Edward Stark, who should you prioritize?" Natasha cut him off while glaring at him with daggers before lowly letting out, "If I told you to help my girlfriend, you will do it immediately, okay?"
"Okay, jeez, fine," He raised his arms in surrender, "Still want to know what she called you though."
"She called her this Scarlett Ingrid Johansson girl, now will you shut up and do your work now?!" Yelena suddenly exclaimed in annoyance which made you jump lightly in her surprise outburst, "Sorry, I'm not really a patient person."
"It's okay." You smiled tightly in her direction before turning your eye back to the man.
"So, let's get this start, shall we?" Tony gazed toward Banner and Wanda, but the girl just shook her head.
"My powers can't surpass something in her mind, it's blocking me from coming inside it. Maybe one of your techies could help her and know what's happening."
"Mm, I see." Banner nodded in acknowledgment before gesturing you to come and sit on the chair beside him which you obliged. You could feel the mix of nervousness and shyness that was radiating in his body which made you look at Natasha for something, like assurance or whatsoever, which Banner saw so he quickly added, "Don't worry, I don't bite."
"Natasha says otherwise." Tony lowly muttered which made you frown when you caught it.
"Oh, are they-" You questioned Tony whilst gesturing your thumb towards Natasha and Banner.
"No!" Natasha replied quickly with wide eyes, "I'm gay."
"But why did he-"
"We, um," Banner cut you off and paused for a minute, thinking of the words that could describe what they had, "We shared some...moments before."
"Disgusting ones from what I've heard and investigated and I promise, I like you better as my sister's lover rather than him," Yelena lowly muttered which made you roll your eyes playfully because of how blunt she was, seeing that Natasha's ex-lover was literally right in front of you.
You laughed, "Be nice, Belova."
"I was just stating facts," Yelena responded defensively.
"Okay, let's stop digging unnecessary things." Natasha butted in once again when she have had enough, "You two, do your work now,"
Tony and Bruce nodded in response before Tony went to check something on one of his technologies whilst Bruce measured your blood pressure and temperature before interviewing you with boring questions like how do feel, and so on.

"How long would she be like this?" Natasha's impatient voice made a screech.
"I don't really know as of the moment but I'll do as best as I can. We will help her, just give us time." Tony assured her when he noticed the slight fear on Natasha's face. "I promise, Red. I'll bring her back to you."
"You better." Yelena lowly warned, "Bring my pocket buddy back."
"I'll try my best, spiders."
"We'll try." Bruce butted in, scarcely glaring at Tony.
"Thanks, boys." Wanda smiled sincerely as Yelena walked you outside, Natasha leading the way.
"Well, what now?" You asked when you all were outside the room.
You noticed that Natasha didn't halt with her movements and made some grumbling noises before she left you with Yelena and Wanda which made you confused and question yourself if you did anything wrong that could upset her.
"I don't know." Wanda shrugged, looking at Yelena briefly so she could help her think of some ideas that you all could do.
"Do you eat mac and cheese?" Yelena suddenly beamed widely at the idea that popped in her head which you found adorable when you saw the pure adoration in her eyes, "We can all cook and eat it if you guys want?"
"I'm down for that." Wanda easily agreed before gazing at you.
You wanted to follow Natasha to make sure that she was okay but your stomach made some noises at the same time you felt it slightly scrunch in hunger and that's just when you remember that you haven't eaten anything yet.
Wanda and Yelena laughed lightly at the sound before dragging you along with them through the large hallways of the building when you nod your head in approval.
You'll just have to make a mental note to check on Natasha after you ate.
