"Alright Ladies and Gentlemen, may I please have your attention?" Mrs. Farley's perky voice got all of our attention as she stood in front of the class with a big box in her hands.
"It is officially the end of the pregnancy project!" Cheers sounded through the room as all of us started taking our fake stomachs off. I had to admit, I don't think that I've ever been so happy before.
In front of us sat our box of baby clothes and toys, and all of the photo proof that we had to take so that way we couldn't get out of doing the public appearances that was part of the project. Thayer seemed to find joy in parading me around like a trophy wife, while I had to stop myself from clawing everyone who looked at me. I'm honestly surprised that I wasn't arrested by the end of this project.
Coming around the class, Mrs. Farley collected all of the huge stomachs and put them in the box.
"Alright, please bring all of your photos up to my desk"
"Um, Mrs. Farley?" A timid girl in the back raised her hand. "Don't you need all of the toys and clothes too?"
A secret smile played on Mrs Farley's cherry red lips. "No, you guys keep those"
"What?" I whispered to Thayer. "Why did she have us buy it if she didn't want it?"
"I don't know" he whispered back.
"Why?" Another person asked.
"Well, you're going to need it, of course"
"What!?" I couldn't stop myself from saying. "I thought you said that we were done with this project?"
Murmurs of agreement fluttered through the room.
"Thank you Farrah, for bringing that up" I grumbled under my breath. "I said that the pregnancy project was over" Mrs. Farley walked over to her desk and pulled out a different box.
"Now class, what comes after your pregnancy is over?"
She isn't...
Mrs. Farley held up a fake baby, her eyes twinkling in delight at our drop jawed faces. The room was deadly silent.
"You are now entering day one of the baby project"

"Is it possible to hate life anymore than I do right now?" I asked Sarah during lunch that same day. She gave me a concerned look, her eyebrows crinkling together like they do every time she thought to hard.
"What's wrong?"
"Well, I gave birth this morning" I spit out sarcastically. Erik snorted from beside me, trying to hold his laughter in when he saw my glare.
"I don't appreciate you" I growled out. He gave me a glare, his eyes challenging me.
"Whatever you say, mommy"
"You have three seconds before I rip your tongue out" I warned. "One...Two...Thr-"
"Oh my god" Sarah gasped in surprise. My threat died on my tongue as I turned to look at what had caught Sarah's attention.
Thayer sat at the head at the wolf table, staring out over the whole cafeteria, admitting such a strong aura that it was almost suffocating. His eyes connected with mine almost instantly, and he gave me a small smile. I could see a faint bruise on his jaw and eye, and concern fluttered through me. Than I saw Carly, his ex, lay her perfectly manicured hand on his bicep, ripping his attention away from me.
Alright, I suddenly don't care anymore.
Letting out a low growl, I ripped my eyes away from Thayer and turned back to Sarah. "I can't believe he's sitting with the Untouchables again"
