.:~Farrah's POV~:.

I'm going to tell you a little secret.

I have a-small...anger issue.

Nothing major, I swear. But you know, it's there.

I'm also not very good at controlling it either.

I think I'm getting better though. I really think that I have a grip on my temper now.

"I want her out of here, now!" Jared growled in disgust as he looked at me with disgust.

Never mind, I lied.

"Who the fuc--" my words were cut off by a furious growl from behind me. Turning around, I saw Thayer with his claws extended and his eyes burning bright gold. I turned back to Jarred and found him in an almost identical state. I rolled my eyes and huffed.

The testosterone in here, I swear...

"Alright boys" I stepped between the two idiots, careful to lay a calming hand on Thayer's chest and to not make any contact with Jarred at all. Thayer calmed down a little from my touch, but his eyes were still bright gold.

"Thayer, I want to go home" I told him gently. "Can we please leave?"

Before I punch your father's head off of his stupid body and drop kick it like a freakin' soccer ball.

Thayer calmed down at my words, giving me a gentle nod as he grabbed my hand and started to tug me to the door. Jarred calmed down too, after Thayer did.

"Take your bitch home Thayer," Jarred seethed, "but when you get home we need to have a talk"

Thayer's hand tightened around mine until I thought that my hand was going to shatter into little pieces, and he started pushing me out the door faster than my feet could keep up.

"Thayer!" I snapped after I tripped over my own two feet and almost slammed my face into the sidewalk. Thayer's strong grip was the only thing that kept me up right

He stopped instantly, receiving my deadly glares when he finally turned to look at me. He gave me an apologetic look before tugging my along again, this time gently.

I could feel Jarred's cold gaze shooting daggers into my back as we walked. With my eyes a permanent shining gold, I let out a growl of warning.

Come and get me, Jerk.

__

So, this is awkward.

Thayer had parked in my driveway about five minutes ago, and none of us has made a move since.

I didn't really want to just get out of the car without a word. I mean, he did save my life back there, when that freakin psycho jumped out of nowhere and tried to bite my face off. I did own him something for that, but I didn't know what. I couldn't very well say 'thanks for not letting my die. Appreciate it.' Thayer deserved more than that.

Come on Farrah, dig deep!

"Well, thanks I guess"

Yeah, that's all I got.

Thayer turned to look at me, his bright blue eyes even bluer than normal in the moonlight. He gave me a small smile and a nod of his head.

"Not a problem"

"Well..." I pointed towards my house. "I'm going to go now"

Thayer cleared his throat. "Of course. See you tomorrow"

"See ya..." I whispered quietly as I got out of his car. But once I put one foot on the pavement outside did I realize what I wanted to say to him.

"Thayer" I slid back into his car. He looked at me in surprise. "You are a hell of a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for. Don't let that dick of a father tell you otherwise. You would make a strong leader, a much better leader than him." I laid a soft hand onto his cheek which he instantly leaned into to. "Be the Alpha that I know that you were born to be"

Looking deep into his eyes, I made sure to show just how much I really meant what I was saying before letting my hand drop from his face.

Kiss him, Farrah.

"Thank you" I whispered. "For saving my life."

He cupped my cheeks between both of his hands and laid his forehead on mine, his eyes closed like he was savoring every moment. I laid my hands over his, squeezing gently as I gazed up at his perfect face.

"I will always protect you."
