I've never been one to succumb to my fears. I've always tried to stay strong. No way was I going to let my enemy see me lose it. They're weren't going to see me weak.
But this was something way beyond fear. This was something entirely new, undiscovered.
My own personal hell.
Another gut wrenching scream escaped my mouth as he cut deeper and deeper with his knife, ripping out chunks of flesh as he did. I laid in my own blood, helpless and paralyzed, as the man dug the knife slowly from my shoulder blade to my hip. A hiss of satisfaction escaped from his vile lips as he finished, standing above me proudly as he witnessed his own handiwork.
"See?" Grabbing my dirty hair in his hands, he yanked my head up off of the ground painfully, earning another scream from me. "Now you're beautiful."
Letting go of my hair, my skull slammed against the bloody concrete, leaving me slightly disoriented. The pain was dull in my mind. Nothing compared to the gut-wrenching pain in my back.
"Oh no, it's starting to heal." His voice was so full of evil it made me sick to my stomach. "I'll take care of that, don't you worry sweetheart."
Retrieving a bottle out of his back pocket, I had no time to react before he poured the searing liquid on my back, directly on my wound.
Earlier, I thought that I had discovered hell.
This was hell, I realized. What happened earlier was just a preview.
Have you ever felt pain so strong that you literally couldn't scream?
Opening my mouth, no sound came out, but my screams still rang through my head. An unbelievable searing pain coursed through my body as my wound bubbled up from the poison that was just poured into it.
He hasn't missed a spot.
I couldn't breath. That's how much pain that I was in.
The foul stench of my rotting flesh filled the room. Combining with my pain, I couldn't help the vomit that came rocketing out of my mouth.
It wasn't until the wolfsbane ran its course that I was able to breath. All energy was drained out of my body, and sweat dripped into my eyes. Tiny whimpers and sobs escaped my mouth.
"There you go, sweetheart," He cooed. "Now you'll stay beautiful forever."
Lifting my heavy head, I through as much venom in my voice as I spoke to him. "I hope you rot in hell."
Anger started to bubble up in his eyes. His foot rocketed out, striking me in the ribs. "You stupid bitch!" He growled. "After everything that I've done for you, this is how you treat me?!"
"Go cry to someone who cares."
A furious growl escaped him as his claws elongated. Without thinking twice he swiped his hand down, ripping chunks of skin and bone out of my back as he struck my shoulder blade. I bit back another scream.
"I should kill you," he admitted, "but I refused to waste my time on a pathetic whore like you."
The sudden pounding of multiple feet started out in the hallway. They grew closer and closer to the doorway, and my dread grew. All energy started to drain out of my body as the wolfsbane reached my bloodstream.
This was how I was going to die.
The door bursted open.
"Cyrus," Drake growled. "Finish her!"
