SAGE twirled in the mirror, staring at her reflection. She was wearing a smokey blue dress and her hair was curled. Her lips were varnished in a tinted lip gloss, and her eyes were dusted lightly with a pale lilac. Sage grabbed her bag, that matched the shade of her dress perfectly and walked out the door. Twisting the key in the lock, she turned and screeched as she became face to face with Rory. The two giggled loudly at their reaction.
"Ahh! We're twins!" Rory gleamed, earning the same look from Sage. The two walked down the hallway of the inn and down the stairs, arm in arm.

The two entered the kitchen and they found Lorelai and Sookie. Sookie was dressed in her snowy white lace dress, and Lorelai in the same dress that Rory and Sage were wearing. Sookie was rushing around frantically and dipping spoons into her food, making sure everything was splendid for the day ahead.
"Sookie, everything's fine!" Lorelai tried to affirm, but Sookie wasn't having any of it.
"I don't know!" Sookie squirmed, "Something just doesn't feel right." Sage laughed delicately.
"What could go wrong? You're the best chef in the world." Sage soothed, acquiring an amicable grin from Sookie. Soon enough, the three managed to tear Sookie away from her beloved kitchen, and into calming down her nerves and greeting the guests. When Sage arrived outside, she accompanied Lorelai and Rory, whilst they said hello to their friends.
"Mom." Lorelai sounded taken aback as she was stunned to see her mother and father.
"Why hello Lorelai! Rory.." Sage reckoned she saw Emily Gilmore grimace as she saw the unknown girl, "Sorry, I don't have the slightest clue who you are?"
"Mom, Dad, this is Sage, one of Rory's best friends." Emily and Richard half - smiled at her.
"Y'know Dad, Sage is hoping to get into Yale." Lorelai endeavoured in making small talk.
"Well, really!" this surely got Richard Gilmore's attention, "I went to Yale, in fact."
"Ah. Cool." Sage inclined.
"Maybe, one time we could have lunch-"
"Oh! Rory! You must bring Sage to dinner one night!" Emily chimed in and Sage's face went an abnormal shade of pale.
"Maybe Grandma, if Sage wants to?" Rory turned her response into a tense question.
"Sure." Sage mumbled, immediately regretting her answer.
"Ah! Perfect! You're going to love Yale." Richard remarked and Sage gave a tight smile, rotating round to the back to consequently scream silently, smacking Rory's hand as she did so.
"Hey guys!" Leanne approached the group and gave her daughter a hug from the side, gaining a 'thanks' from her daughter, although she was unsure why.
"Leanne! These are my parents." Lorelai introduced and both her parents' lips formed a straight line. Leanne smiled her famous smile and waved.
"Lorelai, we better go and sit down." Emily apprised, and her and Richard walked down the the seating area.
"What did I do?" Leanne quizzed.
"Nothing, that's just my parents." Lorelai shrugged.
"Okay, well you look gorgeous sweetie." Leanne stroked her daughter's hair.

THE wedding was only five minutes away from its beginning. Sage was grabbing a drink from the bar when an out of breath Rory neared her. Her cheeks were a deep red and her lips matched it.
"Rory, what's wrong?" Sage knitted her brow scarcely, guiding her friend to the seats.
"He's back."
"Who?" Sage gulped.
"Jess. He's back." the girl panted. Sage stopped. Her throat closed in on her, trapping her voice inside, cornering all her words until they gave up and scattered away. Rory's sentence kept on playing over in her head, jumbling up all the words and putting them in the right order all at once.
"Sage?" Rory tapped her.
"Uh," was all she had to offer, "Let's go to the aisle, it's starting soon." Sage ushered Rory over to the steps where she met her mother, who's face portrayed a drained one. Sage quickly sprinted, although it proved to be quite hard in heels, to the green behind the inn. And there, sure enough, he stood. Sage smiled and waved. He stood still as a statue, his fingers hovering over his lips. Getting the boys attention, he snapped back to reality and beckoned for her to come over.
"I've got five seconds because it's starting soon-" Sage started, but was abruptly interrupted.
"She kissed me."
"Who?" Sage queried.
"Rory, she kissed me." Jess grinned and Sage's heart dropped.
"Well, that's great Jess!" Sage tried to not show her tears and her cracking voice, "I'll talk to you later properly, Luke's" Jess beamed and nodded, and Sage rushed back to the aisle.
"Ready?" Lorelai asked the two.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Rory mumbled and looked to Sage, who averted the girls gaze.
"Let's go." Lorelai said, and the wedding bells began.

" Lorelai said, and the wedding bells began
