Luz laid in bed staring at the ceiling
Her phone made a buzzing answer she sat up and checked her phone she felt her stomach drop
Unknown: where are you mija?
Unknown: once I find you your in deep trouble
Unknown: mija come back now
Unknown: your not making this any better for yourself!
Unknown: thats it I'm coming to look for you and when I do you will not be eating in a week.
Luz sat up from bed as she dropped her phone she began shaking in fear suddenly she felt as if the room was closing in on her, it was getting hard for her to breathe eda walked in and saw what was happening she ran up to the teen and held her close she had no clue on how to calm her down "kid listen to my voice you are safe, if you can take a deep Breath in and out"

Luz didn't say anything for awhile
Eda had sat her down on her couch
As king sat on her lap allowing her to pet him as for he was worried about her the little demon snuggles up against her, eda sat next to her but not so close "you don't have to tell me what happened you can take your time for as long as you new but remember you have to say something eventually I wouldn't be able to help if I don't know what's going on" luz looked down on the floor she knew she couldn't keep it secret from the women that had been so kind to her "if you want I can take you to school or you can stay home" luz stood up and placed king on the couch "no its okay I can go" she walked in her room and got changed then grabbed her bag as she was about to leave she made sure to fix her bed and clean her room then went outside and got inside eda's car.

The bell ranged as the latina walked in her class she sat in her desk the teacher walked in and handed everyone a work sheet "this will take an hour so please take your time then we have a quiz after then you can have some time for yourselves" some students got up and sharpened their pencils, luz was only on the fourth question and she couldn't pay attention to anything that was happening around it just all a blur
Till someone hit the back of her head with a piece of paper crumbled up.
She ignored it then continued to answer the question till she waited for the quiz someone pulled the back of her hair a little to tight but luz didn't want to make any noise of pain to disturb the class
She looked back trying not to make it so obvious to see amber tugging onto her hair she leaned in cloer and whispered in her ear "hey newbie"
She tugged a little tighter "why now?" Luz whispered back 'she really did this durning a assignment?'

After the quiz luz didn't bother to check her phone during her free time so she just laid her head on the desk
Till she felt someone pull her hoodie
She looked up and saw a different person standing in front of her she realized the teacher had left the room
The boy had black wavy hair dark brown eyes and wearing a hoodie with a smirk she definitely did not like "never seen a girl with short hair"
Luz didn't reply "aw don't give me that look" he grabbed her shoulder
Which made her flinch "you scared"
Luz scooted back in her seat "please don't touch me" he started poking her "or what?"  Luz lost her patience
And shoved him away "stop it"
She turned away and felt him grab her wrist really hard luz kicked him off only for the teacher to walk in and see "Luz noceda office now!" "Jake will walk you there since you kicked him and you can apologize" luz tensed up "he literally started it!" "No talking back go now" luz got up and followed by jake he laughed at her once they got into the halls "someone didn't get their way" luz walked further away to avoid talking till he shoved her on the wall "no one is gonna believe you ya know?, so don't even try" "and I'll never give you a apology" he kicked her back then let her go

"Luz why did you kick Jake?" Jake had to use the bathroom for a minute "he started it he started to get in my space" the principal didn't believe her "he is my son and jake is a good kid he wouldn't act like that" "he came up to ME and grabbed my shoulder! I told him to stop then he started to poke me then on the way here he shoved me against the wall!" She still didn't believe her "check the cameras!"
The women sighed and opened computers to check the footage
Jake walked in and sat down as the principal finished watching "you both have to apologize to eachother" luz knew she didn't owe him anything she knew he wouldn't actually apologize either maybe something he doesn't mean "jake goes first" luz protested.

Jake apologizing Sounded just as fake as his personality, luz didn't give in to apologize for awhile the principal had called eda to come get her as the door opened eda walked in and sat next to luz "what" "you s-" "I want luz to explain first" "he came up to me and started bugging me by grabbing my shoulder which I wasn't comfortable with then I told him not to touch me as he began to poke me I shoved him away from me and he grabbed my wrist so. I kicked him" "the teacher didn't let me explain" eda looked at Jake "why did you do that?" The principal cut in "it could be because he likes her boys will be boys" "no. Don't use that, that is no excuse to make someone uncomfortable like that" "he was probably" "Nope no I don't wanna hear it. Don't give me that bullshit" "Jake why did you harass luz?" Luz felt like she wanted to just disappear right then and there
'God please kill me' jake sat there not talking she decided not to tell eda that he shoved her onto the wall.
She didn't want to make it a bigger deal "alright fine" she turned to the principal "I would like to sign out my kid" no questions asked eda signed the papers grabbed luz's bag and the two left the building luz looked back
To see Jake make a motion to saying 'I will make it worse for you and I'm gonna be having fun' he smirked at her luz walked in font of Eda
"I'm sorry eda." "No need to apologize kid" "he had it coming"

Eda took luz somewhere to get something to eat to 'celebrate'
"Good job kid you stood your ground!" Luz felt warm inside so she hugged eda to which she hugged back and rubbed her hair "I'm proud of you kid" luz looked up at eda tears forming in her eyes "really.?"
After awhile the two sat at the table waiting for their food as they were waiting luz and eda cracked up some jokes till their order was ready they got the order and left and got inside her car. King jumped on luz's lap
And ate some of the snacks eda and luz talked for awhile then the latina gave the little demon tummy tickles
Eda got up and left to use the bathroom luz's phone rang she checked the contract to see a unknown number 'nope' she hang up and placed her phone in her pocket after she blocked the number 'nope not today'
