Amity and Luz sat down in the booth after getting their snacks looking out the window

'After what dad told me I have to keep her close mom is still trying to get to luz' earlier "amity come with me" alador says as he opened a door to a secret room followed by his daughter and closed the door behind him "take a seat" amity sits on a chair "yes dad?" After running away luz caught her breath while amity begin keeping an eye out for anything "we were running for so long" "my legs are aching" she lays on the ground as amity sat next to her "we should find eda" "miss clawthorn?"

'Clear odalia belongings" "yes sir"  alador heads upstairs to the bedroom laying in bed stressed 'I'm so tired' 'this is all for the kids I have to be there and protect them no matter what' the house was silent and cold the kids were gone doing their own things finally it felt as as if the house no longer had a suffocating vibe it was calm and peaceful it changed so much after that second it made him feel a lot better hoping better things to come "dad!" Ed and Em enter his room "we found mittens and luz" "They were getting chased around again" "I figured I told mittens that more people were coming to continue their task"
"we decided to distract them which helped them get away we didn't get hurt though"

Camila called in amity "yes miss noceda" "I want to thank you for everything you've done for my daughter" "you will always be welcomed here" she says giving amity a warm smile 'I made a good impression!' I owe you so much for caring for my daughter" amity went in for the hug 'my mom never hugs me I've never received a hug from a mother figure' after the hug amity thanked camila once again then entered luz's room "happy to see you two get along so well" she smiled "I'm so happy to I was scared she wouldn't like me" "of course she would my mom is really nice" Amity sat next to luz 'I'm happy I made a good impression luz's mom says I'm welcomed to the family!' She hugs luz as luz hugs her back

After that day a few more weeks had gone by nothing happened but everyone was on edge after odalia's influence

Walking with amity luz goes to a vending machine to buy a drink

As someone lurked from the shadows the man pulled out a weapon from behind his back before being attacked as the light of speed he dropped dead to the floor as footsteps approach his mangled body "sorry can't have you take away someone we see as family" alador leaves the body where it was keeping an eye on his daughter and her girlfriend "after my ex's threats I have to be sure nothing happens to these kids" "if only she'd let them be happy" he watches his daughter leaving with Luz he checks the mans pocket walking away calling off things so no one else could harm them this man didn't have a password or pattern lock be easily accessed the device finding odalia's contact soon messaging her  deals off they are just kids I'm not doing it his ex replied quickly you are the 6th assassin that called this deal off didn't I tell you what happens if you don't follow through? Alador was pissed at odalia she put people through hell and all she could think of herself a selfish heartless women I don't care you are sick and heartless she's just a kid! Good bye he blocked the number before dropping the phone talking off the gloves

Luz laughed as her girlfriend awkwardly smiled after almost tripping "you okay?" "Yeah yeah" they sit down as luz is drinking her juice "you wanna try some?" Amity looked at the drink "what flavor is it?" "Strawberry" "sure" luz hands her the drink amity takes a sip and liked how it tasted "I like it" she gives luz back the drink
