It was 11.50 when she sneaked the gift into Manik's room(as their rooms are adjacent to each other) without making any noise. She hid it beside his bed where no one can see it, and checked all the other arrangements. When she made sure that everything was perfect, she messaged Nyonika to come with the food and Cake.
They(Ranyo and Ishra) came to Manik's room. And Nandini said,
N(hush voice)- Aap log bahar khade raho yeh sab leke. And come inside the moment I shout 'happy birthday'. Ok?
They showed her thumbs up and went outside. She saw the clock, it was showing 11.57. She hid the gift in his room carefully. And when she saw the clock showing 11.59, she literally jumped on his bare back(as he was sleeping on his stomach). He startled a bit because of the sudden force on his back. Before he could compose himself he heard a shout,
N- HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANI.
And their parents entered and they too shouted,
Ishra+Ranyo- Happy Birthday Manu.
Nandu got up from his back and he too got up and sat on the bed properly. He noticed the surroundings with sleepy eyes and it took him a few seconds to come back to his senses. After getting back to his senses, he smiled whole heartedly. His whole room was decorated with balloons, ribbons, fairy lights and a big 'Happy Birthday' was written on the wall behind his bed.

Then his eyes fell on their parents, who were standing with two trolleys, cake in one and food in other. One glance on the cake and he knew it was made by Nandini. But still he wanted to be 100% sure, so he looked at her raising his eyebrows while she nodded is yes with a big smile on her face. He side hugged her, kissed her temple and thanked her. They both came near their parents, he hugged them one by one and thanked them.
