You reached your private residence, (which was quite similar to that of Scrapper 142's).
Runa was seated on one of the chairs that were on the opposite side of the room, trying to get the obedience disk off her neck.
Hearing your footsteps, she looked up, "Oh, there she is," she glared at you, "My beloved sister," a sarcastic smile spread on her face, "And a traitor,"
"Oh, you wanna talk about betraying?" you scoffed at her, mirroring her expression, "That's ironic coming from the woman who made my childhood miserable,"
"I'm not the one working for that old creep in this hideous place,"
"Still better than you could ever get," you seethed at her.
"Oh, we'll find that out!" Runa flicked her hand to the side, summoning her sword at the side with a wisp of orange as she got to her feet.
"Fine!" your palms began to grow black mists in them, "Let's go!"
You and Runa charged at each other, the latter attacking first.
You knew Runa's tactics very well; You blocked all her blows, one after the other, until you kicked her chest, making her skid backward. Runa barely stumbled back and both of you pulled your hands back —
The tip of Runa's sword pointed at your throat while black mists swirled around her neck. This made both of you pause in your places.
"You think Mom would want us to fight?!" You gritted your teeth together in frustration.
"Well, she wouldn't be surprised," Runa shrugged, making her sword disappear with a shimmer of orange.
After exchanging a silent non-verbal white flag, you both retreated, walking to opposite ends of the room.
You reached the large window on the side of your living quarters that gave a complete view of the civilization of Sakaar. Shaking your head, you spun around to face her, "I hate you so much,"
"You are such an idiot!" Runa let out a scoff.
"You're the idiot!"
"Oh yes, yes, of course," she nodded along sarcastically, "I'm not the one who was kissing his ass! Trying to get his attention— which you got. But no, No," she dragged the word, "You were desperate for more. Desperate to overtake me and defeat me in everything!"
"I wanted validation from Dad," You raised your voice, "His trust. Which meant taking you down every time he made us combat each other. He thought I wasn't worthy of being treated like all others. I just wanted to prove myself and survive!"
"And I just wanted a sister!" Runa snapped.
Your mouth went slack at this statement. Runa was never one to show affection; neither were you, but you thought that Runa genuinely hated you. This confession was uncalled for.
