Flashback (10 years ago)
Sebastian POV
I silently walk through the library watch where I step so I won't get seen. I smile as I hear her quiet giggles. I jump around the shelve yelling 'boo' startling her causing her to squeal
"found you Kyky" I smirk and she whines moving her long brown hair out her face and she stands up.
"No fair you cheated Sebby" She says calling me one her nickname for me. But Sebby always been my favorite.
"Oh did not Kyky" I say and she pouts her eyes filling with tears. I sign and pull her into a hug for moment. When I pulled back I give her a smile
"How about we get some Ice cream" I say and she immediately smiles jumping up and down. I grab her hand having to slouch down a little as we walk since she is too small.
Once were in the dining room I pick her up helping her into the chair. I ask the elf to prepare the ice cream for her as she giggles liking how the elfs waddle away. My little sister have always and will always be my favorite person even when she's annoying me with her tantrums. I still remember begging our parents for another sibling. My mother was on bored with it right away but my father couldn't care saying one was enough but nonetheless Skylar was born.
"Did you do you work Kyky" I ask her and she frowns making me frown. She hates the work she has to do but I make sure she does it so she won't have to face father rage. The work either some school work even though she only six years old or some 'lady work' as my mother calls it saying that it will make her into a proper lady as she grows.
"No but I did all the reading I swear, I just don't like writing it" She says her eyes welling with tears at the though of father would complain about her handwriting saying it's not legible .
"Hey it's okay i'll help you, you know that" I say and she nods as the elf place a bowl of Icecream in front of her. She starts digging in loving the taste of the sweet. The door opens and mother walks in. She looks at us before gasping at Skylar who now has Ice cream all over her face.
"Sebastian what did I tell you about giving your sister sweets" She scolds and I roll my eyes
"Not to do it" I say and she gives me a look to watch my tone as she moves the bowl of ice cream away from Skylar who starts whining because of it. She pulls and clothe out her pocket and starts to wipe her mouth
"She only six mother why can't she have sweets" I say and my mother signs
"She too hyper without them already she doesn't need them as boost" She says and struggles with Skylar who wants to gets away from her. I walk up to mother offering to let me do it seeing as Skylar doesn't want her to do it. My mother signs and hands my the cloth as I start to wipe Skylar face with ease.
"You see you two are too attach she can't keep acting like the Sebastian" My mother complains and I roll my eyes again. On most days she wouldn't care in fact she loves to see us spending time with each other saying how she wish to have siblings. But whenever my father would complain on how we were distracting each other from our studies or when Skylar would want to be around with my when I training with him.
"She's fine mother-"
"She not your father is threatening to ship her off to school or your grandfathers house" She says and I glare at her
"Well don't let him she just a kid and bedside grandfather can barely take care of himself." I say and my mother signs
"You know I can't do that" She says and I scoff what mother doesn't want to fight for her child to be child.
