The snow had been falling for weeks now and Christmas break was drawing closer and closer. The clouds had drowned out the sunlight, the snow definitely improved the student's moods.

Draco's mood hadn't improved much over the course of a week ever since Blaise's birthday, Faris couldn't help but notice how much he had changed. She knew he was happy to be going home for Christmas but something seemed to be bothering him.

Blaise was insistent on knowing what was bothering him; feeling a strong urge in his gut to know what was upsetting him, he couldn't help but wonder if he was bothering him.

"What's wrong, mate? You've been acting like this all week and I'm starting to get tired of it," Blaise said, pulling a hoodie over his head from his side of the room.

"I'm just pissed. Get off my back, will you?" Draco snapped. "You've been pestering me all week and I'm really fucking tired of it."

"Did Faris or me do something? Something over the last weekend?"

Draco's jaw clenched, biting back his judgment as Blaise locked his gaze with his. The last thing Draco wanted was to be having this conversation.

"Look, I have to meet Faris in less than fifteen minutes so I don't have time for this," Draco said with a heavy sigh. "We'll talk about it later."

"No," Blaise said curtly. "We're gonna talk about this now."

Blaise crossed his arms over his chest trying to give him an intimidating look. Draco gave him a skeptical look before scoffing at his behavior and then proceeding to lace up his shoes.

"I'm not kidding, Draco. Now tell me why the hell you've been acting like this." Draco impatiently shook his head. "Can't you just fucking tell me-"

"Okay, so I'm pissed at you! Big deal?" Draco shot him an angered look.

"Why?! I have-"

"I didn't like the way you were talking to Faris last weekend. I don't like the way you've been acting around her lately!"

Blaise took a step back to put more distance between them, "What's wrong with the way I've been acting? -this is about the cherry joke isn't it? Come on, mate-"

"That's not the entire problem," Draco said almost immediately. "I know it was a joke."

Blaise's features softened, "I don't see much of a problem."

"It's just . . . ugh- sometimes I think that you fancy her. You say these flirtatious comments to her all the time now and I can't stand it!"

"Well, I'm sorry that you've felt that way. Though it is pretty obvious that I don't feel that way about girls."

Draco paused for a very long moment to check his appearance in the mirror; fixing his hood and trousers before he left.

"I've gotta be honest with you I've never met someone who is this open about being gay," Draco said, after sitting on the edge of the bed and running a hand through his hair.

"You say that like it is a bad thing," Blaise chortled. "Look, I really don't feel that way about her and I know she feels the same . . . Come on, she loves you, it can't get any better than that."

"Yeah, you're right."

"Okay, now go, you'll be late," Blaise said, shoving him towards the door.

"Alright, I'm going," Draco chuckled, holding his hands up in surrender.

"Don't trip on the way down the stairs, sweetcakes!" Draco held his middle finger up as he walked out the door with a grin spread across his face. "And keep your head out of your ass! And don't let-"
