Captian James Nicholls part 2.

As Captain Nicholls is the only patient awake in the hospital, I sat and talked to him. James told me all about Joey and his owner Albert and how his father had to sell the horse for money
"I took the time to paint a picture of Joey to send back to Albert,to show him that his horse is OK" James explained
"I would love to see some of your art" I tell James
"Oh...I...er...sure,when my shoulder is better" James said shyly.

We are joined by Baldrick
"Food for the patent" Baldrick says
"Thank you... I think" James says taking the food,whilst Baldrick wanders off,James looks sceptically at the soup
"Something wrong James?" I ask
"That Baldrick has a....unique cooking style" James said choosing his words carefully,I giggled
"I think you mean terrible"
"Yes"

"I know but the only thing Baldrick can do is cook,if you can call it that" I explained "I think I can cook something for you"
"You don't have to Y/n, really" James says
"Don't worry my food won't kill you" I tell him.

James P.O.V

Whilst Y/n went off to cook something edible for me,I sat and read a book. A few moments later Blackadder, George and Baldrick all enter and stand to attention. General Melchett had arrived with Captain Darling
"Now then Blackadder, where is our young hero?" Melchett says
"Lazy layabout" Darling mumbled
"Don't mumble Darling" Melchett says. The two captain's and General make there way over to my bed.

"This is the young man that was brought in some weeks ago,by Lt George and Nurse L/n" Blackadder said
"And your name?" Melchett asked me
"Captain James Nicholls, same as the last time" I tell him
"Don't cheek your superior, you layabout" Darling said, I glared at him
"And his assement will be when?" Melchett asked Blackadder
"Next week sir" Blackadder says.

Y/n P.O.V

I made my way back into the main part of the hospital in time to see,James get out of bed and get angry
"HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A COWARD, HAVE YOU BEEN OUT ON THE FRONT? FACING THE ENEMY MACHINE GUNS WITH ONLY A SABER TO ARM YOURSELF. HAVE SEE FRIENDS DIE ALL AROUND YOU? BEEN SHOT AND LEFT FOR DEAD? NO YOU HAVEN'T, YOU'VE BEEN BEHIND A DESK THE WHOLE TIME" James shouted angrily.

I have never seen James so angry before, I hurried over to the men
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave,you're upsetting my patient" I say
"Who is this?" Melchett asks Blackadder
"Nurse Y/n L/n, she is in charge of this hospital and a very fine nurse" Blackadder said slightly flirty to me. I'm not bothered by Blackadder's flirting, It was harmless and besides he isn't that captain that has my attention, that is James.

"L/n...ah yes I remember your father General F/n L/n" Melchett says to me
"My father has mentioned you a few times General, but none the less you must leave" I say firmly
"Of course, gentleman" Blackadder says
"Leave the layabout to grope the little tart" Darling says, he turns to leave but is met by George's fist hitting him
"Don't talk about Nurse Y/n in that way" George said.

"That is very sweet of you George, but not needed" I tell him" we all know how much a prat Darling is"
"Don't slouch Darling" Melchett says to the out cold man before leaving
"Right George,Balders get Darling out of here" Blackadder says
"Right o Bladder" George says
"Don't call bladder" Blackadder says rolling his eyes.

Once everyone had left,it was it back to me and James again
"With all that has gone on,I have forgotten your food" I say"I'm sorry James you must be very hungry"
"Well there is something I have hungered for?" James said
"What's that?"
"Your lips" James says,pulling me from my seat and into his arms and crashing his lips firmly but gently against my own,in a sweet kiss.
